An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer Premier. The Mountaineer is an upscale version of the rugged Ford Explorer. As far as Mountaineer's go, the Premier is the highest trim level available. I would rate the exterior of this Mountaineer to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please take your time and review each of the photos carefully. This does not look like your average Mountaineer. It is finished in Sage over tan leather. The finish on this Mountaineer shines like glass. There is no visible damage to the exterior of this Mountaineer. Other than a small scuff/scratch here and there from daily use, I have nothing bad to say about the exterior of this SUV. The body colored grill, side moldings and running boards give this Mountaineer a very smooth look. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The windows are tinted for privacy. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in matching rubber. The tire tread is on the low side of average so new rubber should be on your short list. I have some connections for tires locally and am happy to assist the buyer with getting some nice rubber if they want. The rear parking sensor are intact and working properly. I would also rate the interior of this Mountaineer Premier to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, please review each of the photos closely. Pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this truck. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior of this truck. The leather seats are embroidered with the Mountaineer logo and show very well. The seats are soft and supple throughout the cabin. The dash and headliner are clean. The interior wood accents show well. Being a Mountaineer Premier, this truck is absolutely loaded with features and options. Both front seats are power operated and working properly. The power windows, locks and mirrors are working properly. This Mountaineer is also sporting the optional sunroof which works properly. The audio system is the factory premium sound which sounds great. There is a CD changer in the center console. The steering wheel has controls for the audio and climate control systems. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There are also audio and climate controls for the rear. This Mountaineer shares its onboard computer system with the Explorer Limited and can show vehicle system diagnostics, service information and vehicle performance data. HomeLink integrated garage door openers are also included with the Premier package. A full set of owners books are included. Mechanically, this Mountaineer appears to be in good running and driving condition. It is optioned with the smooth and strong 5.0L V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission and full time 4WD. The V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Driving this truck is an absolute pleasure. I have nothing bad to say...period. The suspension feels tight. The brakes feel strong. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The engine keeps good temperature and good oil pressure. She makes great power and is very smooth out on the road. Accelleration comes on strong thanks to the optional V8 engine. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The full time 4Wd system is tested and working properly. Out on the road, she drives nice and smooth. Highway cruising is effortless...even at speeds approaching 100 mph. This vehicle has far exceeded my expectations. I would drive it anywhere with no hesitation. I've personally put over 100 miles on this unit over a period of a few days with no issues. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully. I sell fresh trades from mostly local new car dealers. Each vehicle is sold "as-is" and "as-traded" with NO RESERVE. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer Premier. The Mountaineer is an upscale version of the rugged Ford Explorer. As far as Mountaineer's go, the Premier is the highest trim level available. I would rate the exterior of this Mountaineer to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please take your time and review each of the photos carefully. This does not look like your average Mountaineer. It is finished in Sage over tan leather. The finish on this Mountaineer shines like glass. There is no visible damage to the exterior of this Mountaineer. Other than a small scuff/scratch here and there from daily use, I have nothing bad to say about the exterior of this SUV. The body colored grill, side moldings and running boards give this Mountaineer a very smooth look. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The windows are tinted for privacy. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in matching rubber. The tire tread is on the low side of average so new rubber should be on your short list. I have some connections for tires locally and am happy to assist the buyer with getting some nice rubber if they want. The rear parking sensor are intact and working properly.
I would also rate the interior of this Mountaineer Premier to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, please review each of the photos closely. Pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this truck. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior of this truck. The leather seats are embroidered with the Mountaineer logo and show very well. The seats are soft and supple throughout the cabin. The dash and headliner are clean. The interior wood accents show well. Being a Mountaineer Premier, this truck is absolutely loaded with features and options. Both front seats are power operated and working properly. The power windows, locks and mirrors are working properly. This Mountaineer is also sporting the optional sunroof which works properly. The audio system is the factory premium sound which sounds great. There is a CD changer in the center console. The steering wheel has controls for the audio and climate control systems. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There are also audio and climate controls for the rear. This Mountaineer shares its onboard computer system with the Explorer Limited and can show vehicle system diagnostics, service information and vehicle performance data. HomeLink integrated garage door openers are also included with the Premier package. A full set of owners books are included.
Mechanically, this Mountaineer appears to be in good running and driving condition. It is optioned with the smooth and strong 5.0L V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission and full time 4WD. The V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Driving this truck is an absolute pleasure. I have nothing bad to say...period. The suspension feels tight. The brakes feel strong. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The engine keeps good temperature and good oil pressure. She makes great power and is very smooth out on the road. Accelleration comes on strong thanks to the optional V8 engine. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The full time 4Wd system is tested and working properly. Out on the road, she drives nice and smooth. Highway cruising is effortless...even at speeds approaching 100 mph. This vehicle has far exceeded my expectations. I would drive it anywhere with no hesitation. I've personally put over 100 miles on this unit over a period of a few days with no issues. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
