My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I run an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4. The Expedition is a rugged full sized SUV based off of the Ford F-Series trucks that are known for reliability. I would rate the exterior condition of this Expedition of be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this unit. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in two tone burgundy over tan with matching tan leather interior. The finish on this vehicle is not perfect...as you would expect on an older truck. There are some spots of the hood and roof that are faded which is common with this color. Please also expect small scratches, scuffs and dings associated with typical use of a vehicle of this type. There is no noteworthy damage to the exterior of this vehicle. The glass is tinted for privacy in the rear. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The chrome shows well all around the exterior of this truck. The alloy wheels show well. The tires should be replaced immediately upon purchasing this truck. The rear two are a little thin on tread and the side walls of the front two are severely cracked. At the option of the high bidder, I would be willing to replace the tires for you at my cost so you don't have to pay retail for replacement tires. We can discuss that once the auction is over. There is a heavy duty towing hitch at the rear also. I would rate the interior of this Expedition to also be in AVERAGE CONTITION for the age and mileage of this unit. Overall, the interior is pretty clean. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains but are not worn excessively. The leather seats are in better than average condition for one of these. There is one little access panel in the headliner that is missing. Other than that, it looks fine. The stereo is the original Mach Audio premium sound with CD changer which sounds great. The climate control appears to be in good working condition as well. Overall, the interior is roomy and comfortable. Mechanically, this Expedition appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this Expedition feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this full sized SUV with no problems. The engine keeps perfect temperature and high oil pressure at all times. The only warning light on is an airbag light. Out on the road, she drives nice and strait with no funny business. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and also working properly. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4. The Expedition is a rugged full sized SUV based off of the Ford F-Series trucks that are known for reliability. I would rate the exterior condition of this Expedition of be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this unit. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in two tone burgundy over tan with matching tan leather interior. The finish on this vehicle is not perfect...as you would expect on an older truck. There are some spots of the hood and roof that are faded which is common with this color. Please also expect small scratches, scuffs and dings associated with typical use of a vehicle of this type. There is no noteworthy damage to the exterior of this vehicle. The glass is tinted for privacy in the rear. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The chrome shows well all around the exterior of this truck. The alloy wheels show well. The tires should be replaced immediately upon purchasing this truck. The rear two are a little thin on tread and the side walls of the front two are severely cracked. At the option of the high bidder, I would be willing to replace the tires for you at my cost so you don't have to pay retail for replacement tires. We can discuss that once the auction is over. There is a heavy duty towing hitch at the rear also.
I would rate the interior of this Expedition to also be in AVERAGE CONTITION for the age and mileage of this unit. Overall, the interior is pretty clean. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains but are not worn excessively. The leather seats are in better than average condition for one of these. There is one little access panel in the headliner that is missing. Other than that, it looks fine. The stereo is the original Mach Audio premium sound with CD changer which sounds great. The climate control appears to be in good working condition as well. Overall, the interior is roomy and comfortable.
Mechanically, this Expedition appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this Expedition feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this full sized SUV with no problems. The engine keeps perfect temperature and high oil pressure at all times. The only warning light on is an airbag light. Out on the road, she drives nice and strait with no funny business. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and also working properly. She drives nice and smooth with no complaints. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
