I am a Pennsylvania used vehicle dealer and I work differently than most dealers. I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. When I compare something as "average" I am comparing it against the average of similar year and mileage used vehicles on the road, not the average on a dealer's retail sales lot. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. They have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage. I want you to know exactly what you are buying so you can bid with confidence.Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a very well kept 97 Volvo 850 wagon. This wagon does not show the mileage and is in very good condition overall. It has had the same owner for the last 108,000 miles and that was an owner that cared for their car. It was traded for a new Toyota at a local dealership. As you can see in the pictures, the dark red metallic paint looks sharp. It appears that this car was kept in a garage most of its life. The paint is not flawless, but it does shine nicely and looks great from a few feet away. Under close inspection, you can see the small blemishes that normally accumulate from age and use. All of the glass and lights are in good condition. The alloy wheels look nice and are wrapped in radial tires with good tread all around. The interior is likewise well kept. The leather seats are comfortable and the front seats are heated. The driver’s seat has a wear spot on the bolster, but for a seat that has been sat in literally over a million times, that’s not a surprise. The carpets are presentable and there is a full set of floor mats. The dash and door panels are clean and tight. The headliner looks good. The only bad thing I have to say is that the rear hatch panel is a bit loose and rattles. The factory premium sound system sounds good. The heater works well and has dual control, so the passenger can be warmer or cooler than the driver. The power windows, mirrors, and locks work with the press of a button. The rear seats fold down to make for a positively huge cargo area. There is a spare tire, jack, tools, and the front license plate mounting bracket in the rear. Mechanically, this car appears to run and drive quite well. I used this car to run errands for a day and make several trips back and forth to Harrisburg and have no problems to report. The 2.5L five cylinder engine fires up easily and makes good power. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The steering is neutral and does not shake or wobble. The ABS brakes stop the car well. The suspension is in good order. It appears all of the periodic maintenance is up to date. The timing belt sticker under the hood shows that it was done at 171k miles. There are no check engine lights or ABS malfunction lights. There is an SRS light (airbag sensor malfunction) and for some reason the 'low washer fluid' light doesn't go off even when there is plenty of washer fluid in the reservoir. This car has a PA annual safety and emissions inspection good through the end of November 2013. A Volvo 850 is a very well built automobile that can last a half million miles with good care. Being a wagon makes is a very practical and useful vehicle. Thanks for looking at my auction. I am a Pennsylvania used vehicle dealer and I work differently than most dealers. I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. When I compare something as "average" I am comparing it against the average of similar year and mileage used vehicles on the road, not the average on a dealer's retail sales lot. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. They have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage.

Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a very well kept 97 Volvo 850 wagon. This wagon does not show the mileage and is in very good condition overall. It has had the same owner for the last 108,000 miles and that was an owner that cared for their car. It was traded for a new Toyota at a local dealership.
As you can see in the pictures, the dark red metallic paint looks sharp. It appears that this car was kept in a garage most of its life. The paint is not flawless, but it does shine nicely and looks great from a few feet away. Under close inspection, you can see the small blemishes that normally accumulate from age and use. All of the glass and lights are in good condition. The alloy wheels look nice and are wrapped in radial tires with good tread all around.
The interior is likewise well kept. The leather seats are comfortable and the front seats are heated. The driver’s seat has a wear spot on the bolster, but for a seat that has been sat in literally over a million times, that’s not a surprise. The carpets are presentable and there is a full set of floor mats. The dash and door panels are clean and tight. The headliner looks good. The only bad thing I have to say is that the rear hatch panel is a bit loose and rattles. The factory premium sound system sounds good. The heater works well and has dual control, so the passenger can be warmer or cooler than the driver. The power windows, mirrors, and locks work with the press of a button. The rear seats fold down to make for a positively huge cargo area. There is a spare tire, jack, tools, and the front license plate mounting bracket in the rear.
Mechanically, this car appears to run and drive quite well. I used this car to run errands for a day and make several trips back and forth to Harrisburg and have no problems to report. The 2.5L five cylinder engine fires up easily and makes good power. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The steering is neutral and does not shake or wobble. The ABS brakes stop the car well. The suspension is in good order. It appears all of the periodic maintenance is up to date. The timing belt sticker under the hood shows that it was done at 171k miles. There are no check engine lights or ABS malfunction lights. There is an SRS light (airbag sensor malfunction) and for some reason the 'low washer fluid' light doesn't go off even when there is plenty of washer fluid in the reservoir.
This car has a PA annual safety and emissions inspection good through the end of November 2013.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
