***This car is a GMC Sprint, not an El Camino****They are twins. Couldn't find Sprint in the options. Low reserve!! I bought this car from a guy who was a little down on his luck and needed to get out of his payment. I have spent a few months looking it over and fixing a few odds and ends, just minor stuff. It has a 305 small block and an automatic transmission. Mechanically the car feels and drives sound, good power, doesn't over heat, good power steering, brakes feel good, tires are 80% or so. Nice custom wheels. Solid like new exhaust system with headers (really nice rumble). Paint is in OK condition, looks good from 20' but up close you can see imperfections here and there. A few rust bubbles on one rear quarter and behind passenger door, minor scuffs and scratches here and there. Would be easy to prep for a new paint job if desired but is a good driver quality that someone could drive, enjoy and turn heads with as is. Engine compartment is clean and has been dressed up nicely. Newer headliner that was put in a little loose but looks OK. Seat has a few rips. Could throw a cheap seat cover on or have reupholstered if desired. Dash has a skin on it that needs to be glued down. I just left it as is so someone could adhere it the way they want. Door panels and trim are in OK driver condition. There is a car alarm installed. Front bumper pretty good, back bumper dented a little. It looks like the cab floor was cut out and a new one put in. A little rust underneath but not much. Rubber seals around door and against door windows are a little tired. Great project to take to the next level of restoration. All in all a really nice 35 year old classic. Car is being sold as is with no warrantee as to future performance. Pick up or delivery the responsibility of buyer. Auction may end early if local sale is made before reserve is hit..*******Please note, as pictures indicate, there is not any smog equipment on car. Car will not pass smog requirements in California as it sits. Car previously sold to a California buyer and is now relisted. Not sure about other states. Car has current tabs in WA.
