My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accuratelyand honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a fairly rare 1999 Mercedes-Benz C280 Sport. The C280 Sport is basically a normal C280 with the suspension tuning of a C43AMG. In addition, there are several interior upgrades such as white gauges and carbon interior trim that set the Sport Package apart from the more pedestrian C280. I would rate the exterior of this C280 Sport to be in AVERAGE OCNDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, this is a great looking car. It is finished in white over black interior with tinted windows which look great. As I'm sure you know, rust is quite an issue with Mercedes-Benz products of this era. This C280 has aged far better than most. There are a few spots of rust on the doors at the molding and on the fenders as is typical on these vehicles. It is caused by the water based paint used by Mercedes at the time. It affects nearly every Mercedes model of the late 90's through mid 2000's. Please see the detailed photos. Again, this car looks good overall and is in better condition than most out there. The white finish shines very well and looks great. Other than a missing corner lens cover, all of the glass is intact. The grill has been upgraded. The wheels have been upgraded along with the suspension which gives this C280 Sport a more aggressive look and increased handling ability over stock. I would rate the interior of this C280 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Mercedes-Benz is exceptionally clean. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The special black leather Sport seats show in nearly new condition. The headliner and dash are clean. The carbon trim shows extremely well. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is the original premium fiber optic sound with CD changer which sounds great. The glove box latch is a little contrary sometimes which is common. The trunk is spacious and clean. This sedan comes with a full set of books as well as a remote/key to the factory security system. Mechanically, this C280 Sport appears to be in good running and driving condition. The only bad thing I can say about this Mercedes-Benz mechanically is that the wiper doesn't work. I can hear the motor run but the arm doesn't move. The good news is that the motor is good. It's most likely a stripped gear and should be not too difficult to fix. The 2.8L six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. She just purrs like a kitten. The suspension feels tight as it should. The steering is neutral and responsive. In spite of having altered suspension, you can take your hands off of the wheel at highway speeds and she'll go nice and strait. The brakes stop this Mercedes with no issues. Out on the road, her manners are excellent. The 194hp engine makes plenty of power and keeps a good temperature at all times. Accelleration is effortless through the five speed automatic transmission. I remember test driving a C230 Sport (4cyl supercharged) when it was new back in the day. I was very "underwhelmed". If they would have had a C280 Sport on their lot like this one, I probably would have purchased it. This car is an absolute barrel of monkeys to drive. I've put in excess of 200 trouble free miles on this Mercedes. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. I would drive this car anywhere without a second thought. Winning bidders: Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accuratelyand honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a fairly rare 1999 Mercedes-Benz C280 Sport. The C280 Sport is basically a normal C280 with the suspension tuning of a C43AMG. In addition, there are several interior upgrades such as white gauges and carbon interior trim that set the Sport Package apart from the more pedestrian C280. I would rate the exterior of this C280 Sport to be in AVERAGE OCNDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, this is a great looking car. It is finished in white over black interior with tinted windows which look great. As I'm sure you know, rust is quite an issue with Mercedes-Benz products of this era. This C280 has aged far better than most. There are a few spots of rust on the doors at the molding and on the fenders as is typical on these vehicles. It is caused by the water based paint used by Mercedes at the time. It affects nearly every Mercedes model of the late 90's through mid 2000's. Please see the detailed photos. Again, this car looks good overall and is in better condition than most out there. The white finish shines very well and looks great. Other than a missing corner lens cover, all of the glass is intact. The grill has been upgraded. The wheels have been upgraded along with the suspension which gives this C280 Sport a more aggressive look and increased handling ability over stock.
I would rate the interior of this C280 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Mercedes-Benz is exceptionally clean. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The special black leather Sport seats show in nearly new condition. The headliner and dash are clean. The carbon trim shows extremely well. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is the original premium fiber optic sound with CD changer which sounds great. The glove box latch is a little contrary sometimes which is common. The trunk is spacious and clean. This sedan comes with a full set of books as well as a remote/key to the factory security system.
Mechanically, this C280 Sport appears to be in good running and driving condition. The only bad thing I can say about this Mercedes-Benz mechanically is that the wiper doesn't work. I can hear the motor run but the arm doesn't move. The good news is that the motor is good. It's most likely a stripped gear and should be not too difficult to fix. The 2.8L six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. She just purrs like a kitten. The suspension feels tight as it should. The steering is neutral and responsive. In spite of having altered suspension, you can take your hands off of the wheel at highway speeds and she'll go nice and strait. The brakes stop this Mercedes with no issues. Out on the road, her manners are excellent. The 194hp engine makes plenty of power and keeps a good temperature at all times. Accelleration is effortless through the five speed automatic transmission. I remember test driving a C230 Sport (4cyl supercharged) when it was new back in the day. I was very "underwhelmed". If they would have had a C280 Sport on their lot like this one, I probably would have purchased it. This car is an absolute barrel of monkeys to drive. I've put in excess of 200 trouble free miles on this Mercedes. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. I would drive this car anywhere without a second thought. It has newer PA safety and emissions inspections. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
