You are looking at a 1969 AMC AMX American motors only made very few cool cars and this was there BEST This car has a completely rebuilt 390 original motor along with a 4 speed transmission all #'s matching drive train suspension all new including rear springs new.Problem is that everything was redone about 7 maybe 8 years ago when I had owned the car the first time I had then sold the car to a local dealer who at that time sold the car to the new car manager he wanted the car because he worked for American motor's and loved the car.well after he had bought the car he used the car had all new e-brake cables on the car took it to a couple car shows then parked it in his garage and never moved it for 7 years then he decided to sell the car so I had bought the car back. He had put around 1000 miles on the car and then when he decided to sell the car he had all checked out everything seems good. When I bought the car back I had changed all the fluids and drove the car about 200 miles in total since I had bought it back in fall of 2012.This is a nice car for the money I had put together a few classic cars my self in the past and I can actually say that this car is alot nicer then any other one that I have seen for the price this is a no reserve price so when you bid you are bidding to buy.the under carriage of the car is good someone did repair the rear floor nothing major Idid check on replacement pans for the rear and they are around $45 each and labor would cost at a local body shop about $200 thats the estimate I got from 2 different shops as far as the trunk and the rest of the under carriage as far as I can tell it good.Also there is no door trim tag it was taken off the car many years ago before people cared about # but that was only for the trim tag. Also someone redone the interior back in the early 80's so the interior would have to be redone to bring it back to original it is the original seats just different covers on them.
