1968 VW Beetle - LAST TIME I WILL POST ON EBAY!!!! This great little car is an original Spokane VW - been in this town since new when purchased at Bill Bright VW here in Spokane - currently with only just over 80k original miles. I bought it about a year ago from the original owner whose Dad bought it for her Mom in 1968! When I first saw it - it was sitting in a garage and had been sitting for about 8 years. I wasn't sure it would run after all that time - and bought it anyway since it was in such great original condition. It was like it was in a time capsule - but it was used and does show some wear and surface rust (some rust through on the front lower near bumper but minor) - but all original with original working AM radio, and 8 track tape player (not sure it works as I don't have any 8 track tapes!). When I got it home and pushed it into my driveway - my neighbor and I went to work with her. A new starter later and some fuel priming - and it fired right up! I have put new brakes on it and she's road worthy and running now. Great candidate for restoration. Love this car, but need to clear my garage. Only thing that doesn't currently work is the windshield wipers. There's also the typical rust hole under the battery but could easily be fixed. Good Luck with Bidding!
