This is a 1987 Mercedes Benz 560 SL convertible in very good condition. This car was owned by an enthusiast who drove it sparingly over the last decade. The Body is very straight with just one small dent just ahead of the trunk (see pic). There is no rust I can find and underneath looks to be in very good condition. These cars are known to rust in the trunk area and this one looks very solid. It appears to have been re-painted and the paint is very presentable but not perfect. There is a fairly large touch up where it looks like it was scratched while removing or installing the hard top (see same picture as the previously mentioned dent). Overall this Mercedes looks extremely nice. The Interior is in similarly good condition. The leather seats are great and the dash is excellent. The carpets have a few stains but are generally very nice. The windscreen has a few small chips, all the other glass is great. The soft top is in good condition and the car also has a factory hard top in good condition with just one very small hole in its headliner. The Car runs great and is very powerful, smooth and comfortable. It has great oil pressure and doesn't smoke or leak. All the Instruments work. The cooling and electrics systems are in great condition and it has a nice JVC stereo that works perfect. The wheels are in great condition and the tyres have plenty of tread left. The windscreen washers do not work and the washer fluid bottle is missing its cap. There is a very minor exhaust leak near the right front, it is barley noticeable at all and can't be heard from inside the car. The heat/defrost works great but sometimes the blower won't come on until the cars warmed up a bit but it does always work. The power windows go up and down great. The Automatic transmission works great and shifts smoothly. The brakes work perfect. the steering and suspension are excellent. Overall this is a great looking car that is ready to be driven right away and will continue to bring its new owner many happy miles of famous Mercedes comfort and reliability. It comes with a clear title and is currently licensed. It also comes with a folding rack with wheels that holds the hard top when it is not on the car. The original owners manual is still in the glovebox. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and arrangements. I highly recommend and encourage a personal inspection if possible.
