So I had to make a hard decision this between my two babies and one needs to go to fund the other and seniority rules so this baby has to go. What you are looking at is 1 of less than 2000 1982 Mercedes 300CD turbo diesel coupes less than 6500 turbo diesel coupes were made in the 3 years they came with a turbo and this one is a fine example of how long lived these cars can be and still turn heads. This Tank of a car starts right up on anyday cold or hot heater blows hot, A/C could use a charge, all of the gauges work, all the heater controls, sunroof seals are good, along with all the weather stripping. this is a fantastic car that doesn't need much to be a perfect example of a hand built German Diesel Luxury Coupe I'd rate this car as 80% how it sits and thats only cause it has sat for a little while instead of being daily driven. What this car needs done in the future is as follows: a couple braided fuels lines replaced, old fuel drained out, rear shock absorbers, brake pads eventually, has a vacuum leak that makes it shift hard and the door locks only work manually, and the sunroof motor needs to be replaced (have a working one), paint needs to be cleaned has bird stains on it from this fall but is in perfect condition other than that it was perfect two months ago. Now on to the good: It is absolutely beautiful paint is great small rock chips in very front of hood, All the chrome/moldings are 100% perfect, the interior is in 90% condition only minor attention to make it perfect, The rims are original and clean no blemishes, has full professionally installed alpine cd player, grill is perfect, all original windows, rear window is beautiful, leather is great, carpet is beautiful just needs a cleaning, bumpers are perfect, never been in a wreck, only one small door ding that i will have to point out in person, exhaust is in great shape, you could eat in the engine bay its so clean, air cleaner is on now i had it off to replace the mounts. I just changed the fuel filters also. this is one of my dream cars but i have to let it go This car is also for sale here locally and I will end the auction if it sells before then PM for questions I have tons of pics and can take more
