My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and reivew each of the photos carefully as we sell each vehicle "as-traded" and there will be things in the following description that are specific to this vehicle. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Saturn SL1. The first and second generation Saturn S-Series' have an excellent reputation as being reliable, simple and economical vehicles. The beauty of these vehicles lies in their simplicity. I would rate the exterior of this SL1 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It was a local trade from a large used car dealer. The silver exterior shows well. There is a spot of damage to the nose of the hood. Judging from the rest of the exterior of the car and the college stickers on the window, I'd guess that another car bumped it in a parking lot. The exterior shows well. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. There is some visible rust on the rockers of the rear doors which is common for older Saturn's. The wheel covers look good. The tires have average tread all around. I would rate the interior of this Saturn to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show some stains but are not excessively worn. We do not detail or recondition any vehicle. An hour or so of scrubbing the carpets would probably make a good difference. The seats show well throughout the vehicle. The only noticable wear is on the outer bolster of the drivers seat. As with almost every Saturn on the road, the headliner is sagging. It is still there but most people just rip the cloth down...that's what I'd do. The trunk is spacious and clean. The stereo is original. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The interior is pretty basic. Nothing much to talk about...nothing to break either. Mechanically, this Saturn appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension of this Saturn feels good for the miles. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this car well for an older Saturn. Out on the road, I was very impressed with this little Saturn. The engine is peppy. She keeps good temperature. Highway cruising was better than I expected for a vehicle this age. This Saturn will easily cruise at 80mph nice and straight without breaking a sweat. The clutch engagas smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth. I really don't have anything bad to say about this Saturn. I'd drive it anywhere. There aren't many cars in this price range that you can just start up and go without any major concerns. Fuel economy should be mid-upper 20's around town and mid-upper 30's on the highway. Terms & Conditions If you wish to contact us for any reason, the quickest and best way to do so is through eBay's email system. Messages left on the office voicemail may take several days to get to the right person or get lost. Winning bidders: Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Bid Retractions/Changes: We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions. The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and reivew each of the photos carefully as we sell each vehicle "as-traded" and there will be things in the following description that are specific to this vehicle. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Saturn SL1. The first and second generation Saturn S-Series' have an excellent reputation as being reliable, simple and economical vehicles. The beauty of these vehicles lies in their simplicity. I would rate the exterior of this SL1 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It was a local trade from a large used car dealer. The silver exterior shows well. There is a spot of damage to the nose of the hood. Judging from the rest of the exterior of the car and the college stickers on the window, I'd guess that another car bumped it in a parking lot. The exterior shows well. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. There is some visible rust on the rockers of the rear doors which is common for older Saturn's. The wheel covers look good. The tires have average tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this Saturn to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show some stains but are not excessively worn. We do not detail or recondition any vehicle. An hour or so of scrubbing the carpets would probably make a good difference. The seats show well throughout the vehicle. The only noticable wear is on the outer bolster of the drivers seat. As with almost every Saturn on the road, the headliner is sagging. It is still there but most people just rip the cloth down...that's what I'd do. The trunk is spacious and clean. The stereo is original. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The interior is pretty basic. Nothing much to talk about...nothing to break either.
Mechanically, this Saturn appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension of this Saturn feels good for the miles. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this car well for an older Saturn. Out on the road, I was very impressed with this little Saturn. The engine is peppy. She keeps good temperature. Highway cruising was better than I expected for a vehicle this age. This Saturn will easily cruise at 80mph nice and straight without breaking a sweat. The clutch engagas smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth. I really don't have anything bad to say about this Saturn. I'd drive it anywhere. There aren't many cars in this price range that you can just start up and go without any major concerns. Fuel economy should be mid-upper 20's around town and mid-upper 30's on the highway. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.

We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
