This 760 is in rare condition. Please note that this is a 760GLE, not a 740. eBay only has a category for 740s. It was owned by the same family for about 20 years, garaged and loved. I have a stack of records. It is all original and has never been messed with. No accidents, original paint. I have put 1000 miles on it over the last year, very reliable. It starts in coldest weather and is ready to drive away. Very smooth driving car that inspires confidence, no funny noises, smell, vibrations. I have owned and driven countless RWD Volvos and can easily spot faults. I have found a 740 5 speed and do not need two cars. However, I am not desperate to sell. Other recent work includes new fuel pressure regulator, front pads and rotors, plugs (all cylinders looking good, no oiling). It does not need anything to continue driving. Faults are very minor. It may have a slight exhaust leak (rear exhaust section is new), seems slightly louder than it should, but I cannot find the source. I only mention this as I am trying to describe the car as thoroughly as possible, and really it is hardly noticeable. The engine itself is mechanically very quiet. There is a small oil leak at the rear main seal. Oil was changed 1000 miles ago, and it is only down half way on the dipstick so approximately .5 quarts every 1000 miles. The oil is still clean! The oil was changed regularly every 3000 miles. Cosmetically it is very nice and qualifies as a true survivor. Underbody is clean, no rust. No water leaks in the cabin, no smells. Just about everything works. AC is currently disconnected by is included, and I can reinstall in 10 minutes. Heat functions work great, as does the heated seats. The headliner is sagging a little in the back but is tastefully tacked up. Tires and battery are good. The wheels are very rare and valuable Pirelli "P-Slots."
