Purchased from the long term owner, serviced by one mechanic for many years, this is a very special motorcar. Fully restored both cosmetically and mechanically by Hyannis Restorations in 1997. Used in summers only for special occasion's and events since. 81000 original miles and always fastidiously cared for. Show quality dark green exterior, outstanding light green leather interior, perfectly matched wood dash and trim. Headliner has a small slit and stain above driver, a new English mohair headliner is included. MotaLita adjustable wood steering wheel and an alloy shift knob incorporating the overdrive switch. In the sixties this was the fastest and best performing sedan in the world being driven and raced by such noted Formula One drivers as Mike Hawthorn,Sir Stirling Moss, Duncan Hamilton, Roy Salvadori and Graham Hill. Even when compared to the finest cars of today this automobile is far from being outclassed. Having owned Ferrari's, Healey's, Morgans, Porsche's, Alfa's, Mercedes and other high quality cars and never have I driven an automobile which attracts the attention and gathers compliments as much as this Jaguar.
