Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is this 2007 Shelby GT-H Convertible, #459 of 500 made. Only 500 Convertible Hertz were made. I have owned this car since released from the rental fleet in 2009. I am the first registered owner and have all documentation that comes with the car. I purchased the car with 28,000 miles and it now has 54,300. I assume that you know the history of these cars, but if not, here is a bit of info. In 2006, Carroll Shelby made 500 Shelby GT-H exclusively for the Hertz Corp. to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Shelby GT350H, which in 1966 was a run of 1000 cars. In 2007, he created an additional 500, but this time as a convertible. This was the first time in Hertz history that a convertible was introduced into the Rent-A-Racer Hertz Fun Collection Program. Each car was given a Shelby serial numbers. . These were all done at Shelby Performance, Las Vegas, Nevada. The GT-H's have a modest power boost over the regular Mustang GT, features include a 4.6 liter V8, 5 speed Automatic transmission, 3:55 Rear assembly, a package from Ford racing including a 90 mm cold air intake kit, X-pipe exhaust, and Ford racing GTA axle-back mufflers, and a special performance suspension. I have taken care of this car since I own an auto shop, regular oil inspections and maintenance. About 15,000 miles ago, i replaced all four rotors and pads. I also replaced the lower control arms. The car has some minor dings and the rear valance has two scrapes, that came in a parking lot. One of the fog lights glass is broke (due to a recent rock chip). The convertible top has some wear and tear and recently i noticed that the rear glass on the top came un-glued. These were held by adhesive tape, I got a quote from a local shop, it will cost $1500 for a new top installed. These were rental cars, so this is expected. As for CarFax, it shows one accident, which happened during its rental life, according to carfax it was minor damage to the rear quater panel. 07H459 did its rental duty in Maui, HI. I also have applied Gold Fender SideStripes (racig stripes). This car is sold as - is and at NO RESERVE. THE CAR ALSO HAS A LIEN, so once i receive the full amount, you may pick up the vehicle and either the lien holder or myself will fedex you the Title. We can also meet at a bank and do all the paperwork and lien release there. BMW Financial is the Lien Holder. Serious Buyers please. On Dec-28-12 at 15:08:09 PST, seller added the following information: The car has a RESERVE, the old listing did not.
