This is a 1995 Chevrolet 1-ton K3500 4WD Extend Cab Big Dually with the 6.5L Turbo Diesel. Everything on this truck works. This truck has remarkably good pick up for a Diesel. It has a spot in the bed for a 5th wheel ball. All 6 tires have about 15K miles on them. Diesel engines are known for very long lifes, but be warned that you need patience when starting them. If you follow GM instructions, this truck starts and warms us very predictability in all weather. If you expect it fire right up like a gasoline engine after it has been sitting for a few hours in the cold, you will be dissapointed. By no means does it take 20 minutes to start, but it may take a 3-4 minutes to start it properly and another 5-10 to let it warm up properly. It behaves exactly as it a Diesel engine should if you pay attention the instructions and the "glow plug" light. This unit also has a block heater with a plug that extends from the grill for easy connection to 120 VAC outlets. This vehicle will have not have a CD player or Casette Player; however one can be easily added. Power steeing pump and air compressor have been recently replaced. The A/C works perfectly and blows cold. A 3-gauge column mount has been added by to the driver side. The previous owner added it to put a single pyrometer guage on it that is connected currently to only the guage lights. This guage is not currently connected to the exhaust. Very little rust is found on this truck and it is in excellent condition for being 17-18 years old. I have done my best to add pictures that truly represent its good condition. I am moving now from the suburbans into downtown Cleveland so this truck is simply too big for my needs now. It is being sold as-is with no warranty. It is available for local pickup and buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I generally keep this truck in the Cleveland, OH 44124 area, but can bring it to Columbus, OH 43004 area for a transaction. I reserve to end this auction at any time for any reason. These pieces (about $150) will help further smoothen the ride of any Chevy Extended Cab Truck, especially when driven over certain concrete surfaces that create frame oscillation in most Chevy Trucks. At times, I considered installing these but never got around to doing it as I simply use the brakes to immediately offset any very rare frame beaming event (2 times in 2 years). I will include them at no additional cost, and the buyer can install them at whatever time date of his/her choosing.On Dec-28-12 at 08:04:02 PST, seller added the following information: There is a remanufactured 6.5L turbo engine in it sold by Diesel Depot in November 2010. This engine has just 15,000 miles on it. The engine was replaced by the owner previous to me a month before he sold it. The engine is no longer under warranty, but runs superb. The transmission has never had any servicing to my knowledge and also performs as expected.
