Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is our 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 convertable. We traded our 71 fastback for this car because my wife didnt like driving it, and wanted a drop top. The previous owner drove the 94 from southern Ohio to our house to show it to us before we traded. The drive was 3 hours and the car made it no problems. She came back the next night and brought her husband with their roll back to pick up our 71 for the trade. She realized she left her title at home and since she already brought the 94 and had the 71 loaded she said she would mail us the title by certified mail when they got home. No problem right? Well yes they did mail the title, but when we recieved it we were unhappy to see that the car had a salvage/rebuild Ohio title. We had driven the car the evening before, and it has NO PROBLEMS getting up and moving. I had the car checked by a Mustang fan friend and he said he doesnt see where it was involved in any front end collision. It has a new black top,tan interior(seats need redone) I'm almost sure the original top was tan. We have owned the car 2 years. The car had 158,792 when we bought it 2 years ago,and it now shows 159,643 on the odometer. We dont drive it in the winter. This summer it probably got driven maybe a dozen times to the grocery store,or to pick the kids up from school. The car has a few little problems that I want to make you aware of. The heater control is stuck in defrost position. It doesnt switch to floor or vents. The air conditioning works last we drove it,but we never really used it because the top was always down when we took it out. The ignition switch needs replaced, The passenger side rear window regulator needs replaced. You have to help it down and up with your hand. The car has a BBK cold air intake,Flowmaster 44 mufflers, TRUE 2 1/2 DUAL exhaust, and for our region it has two 50 state legal flowmaster cats. This year the car started showing its age as the clearcoat is starting to bubble up and flake off. It runs very well and neither my wife or I have abused this car. We never recieved the keypods with the car,so we never lock it. It wouldnt do any good antways because its a convertable right? If there was something in the car somebody wanted they would just cut the top. This would make an easy father/son drive as you restore car. It has a new battery and a new alternator. Please feel free to ask any questions. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty. I'm sure the winning bidder will be more than happy with it. Thanks, and Happy Bidding. On Dec-24-12 at 09:41:38 PST, seller added the following information: May be willing to trade. Let me know what you have.On Dec-26-12 at 14:31:51 PST, seller added the following information: We talked and decided with the things needing fixed, the reserve was too high. So we lowered it 400.00. That should help with what needs fixed as stated above..
