I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos in detail BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a fuel sipping 1997 Ford Escort LX sedan. The Ford Escort has earned an excellent reputation as being a reliable and economical vehicle since its introduction in the early 80's. I would rate the exterior of this Escort LX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see in the photos, this is a good looking vehicle. It is finished in a light green which shows very well. Please understand that this is an older vehicle with quite a few miles so there will be noticable wear on the exterior as you would expect from any vehicle of this age. However, this one appears to have been well taken care of. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The LX model is the top trim level of the Escort is memory serves me. The alloy wheels that come as a part of the LX package are in good condition and are wrapped in good rubber all around. This Escort wears newer PA inspection and emissions stickers, too. I would rate the interior of this Escort LX to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The headliner is clean and tight except for a little loose portion at the very back which is common. The LX package also adds a few other features not found in your typical Escort. The cloth seats are a nicer fabric than base models came with and also show very well for their age. This Escort LX is also optioned with power windows, locks and mirrors. The right rear window does not go down...all others work properly. The climate control system appears to be working properly. Additionally, this Escort comes with multiple keys and remotes to the factory remote entry system. The trunk is impressive for a smaller vehicle. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. The simple fact that the owners managed to keep (and thought to give) both remotes speaks volumes to the care they most likely put into this vehicle. Vehicles don't get to this age and stay in this condition by accident. Mechanically, this Escort appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this Escort feels tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Escort with no issues. Out on the road, this Escort has excellent road manners. The engine makes good power. Accelleration is good. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. The automatic transmissin engages smoothly and shifts properly. At highway speeds, the car is smooth and drives with no complaints. I must admit that I was very impressed with this little car. I would drive this Escort anywhere without a second throught. It has a slight exhaust leak...it is barely audible. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Bid Retractions/Changes: We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos in detail BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a fuel sipping 1997 Ford Escort LX sedan. The Ford Escort has earned an excellent reputation as being a reliable and economical vehicle since its introduction in the early 80's. I would rate the exterior of this Escort LX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see in the photos, this is a good looking vehicle. It is finished in a light green which shows very well. Please understand that this is an older vehicle with quite a few miles so there will be noticable wear on the exterior as you would expect from any vehicle of this age. However, this one appears to have been well taken care of. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The LX model is the top trim level of the Escort is memory serves me. The alloy wheels that come as a part of the LX package are in good condition and are wrapped in good rubber all around. This Escort wears newer PA inspection and emissions stickers, too.
I would rate the interior of this Escort LX to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The headliner is clean and tight except for a little loose portion at the very back which is common. The LX package also adds a few other features not found in your typical Escort. The cloth seats are a nicer fabric than base models came with and also show very well for their age. This Escort LX is also optioned with power windows, locks and mirrors. The right rear window does not go down...all others work properly. The climate control system appears to be working properly. Additionally, this Escort comes with multiple keys and remotes to the factory remote entry system. The trunk is impressive for a smaller vehicle. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. The simple fact that the owners managed to keep (and thought to give) both remotes speaks volumes to the care they most likely put into this vehicle. Vehicles don't get to this age and stay in this condition by accident.
Mechanically, this Escort appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this Escort feels tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Escort with no issues. Out on the road, this Escort has excellent road manners. The engine makes good power. Accelleration is good. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. The automatic transmissin engages smoothly and shifts properly. At highway speeds, the car is smooth and drives with no complaints. I must admit that I was very impressed with this little car. I would drive this Escort anywhere without a second throught. It has a slight exhaust leak...it is barely audible. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.

The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
