I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and check out each photos carefully as we sell every car "as-traded" and there will be things you need to know about each specific vehicle. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier coupe. The Cavalier has been a household name for decades and is a vehicle that is known for simplicity, reliability and great fuel economy. I would rate the exterior of this Cavalier to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this unit. If you have dreams of taking home a trophy from your local Cavalier show, this may not be the car for you. If you need cheap, reliable transportation please read on. We'll get to the most obvious physical damage first. There is a noticable dent on the quarter panel as you can see in the photos. Also, there is a spot of rust at the bottom of the rear quarter panel in front of the tire. Otherwise, the car doesn't look too bad. One wheel cover is MIA but the tires look good all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. She isn't much to look at, but all of the important stuff is there. I would rate the interior of this Cavalier to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The seats show no rips or excessive wear and are comfortable. The dash and headliner are both clean. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The stereo has been upgraded with an Alpine CD player and upgraded speakers which sound fantastic and are clearly high end. The speakers sound so good that I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the trunk and did not see a subwoofer. The stereo is probably worth close to the opening bid of the auction alone without the car. Mechanically, this Cavalier appears to be in good running and driving condition. The four cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Out on the road, this Cavalier actually drives pretty well. The suspension feels tight all around. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes feel good, too. The engine makes good power and highway cruising is effortless. She drives down the highway at 75mph nice and straight with no complaints. The engine keeps good temperature at all times. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip. Gear changes are smooth through the manual transmission. Based on how this car looks, I didn't expect much to be excited about on the driving side of things but this car proved that you can't judge a book by its cover. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Bid Retractions/Changes: We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier coupe. The Cavalier has been a household name for decades and is a vehicle that is known for simplicity, reliability and great fuel economy. I would rate the exterior of this Cavalier to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this unit. If you have dreams of taking home a trophy from your local Cavalier show, this may not be the car for you. If you need cheap, reliable transportation please read on. We'll get to the most obvious physical damage first. There is a noticable dent on the quarter panel as you can see in the photos. Also, there is a spot of rust at the bottom of the rear quarter panel in front of the tire. Otherwise, the car doesn't look too bad. One wheel cover is MIA but the tires look good all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. She isn't much to look at, but all of the important stuff is there.
I would rate the interior of this Cavalier to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The seats show no rips or excessive wear and are comfortable. The dash and headliner are both clean. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The stereo has been upgraded with an Alpine CD player and upgraded speakers which sound fantastic and are clearly high end. The speakers sound so good that I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the trunk and did not see a subwoofer. The stereo is probably worth close to the opening bid of the auction alone without the car.
Mechanically, this Cavalier appears to be in good running and driving condition. The four cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Out on the road, this Cavalier actually drives pretty well. The suspension feels tight all around. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes feel good, too. The engine makes good power and highway cruising is effortless. She drives down the highway at 75mph nice and straight with no complaints. The engine keeps good temperature at all times. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip. Gear changes are smooth through the manual transmission. Based on how this car looks, I didn't expect much to be excited about on the driving side of things but this car proved that you can't judge a book by its cover. It clearly exceeded every expectation I had for it. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, inspected vehicles for sale with NO RESERVE PRICE. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
