You are bidding on a 1987 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 2 door with 207,842 miles. 4WD is fully functional; has power locks and windows; has been converted to a RHD vehicle with a kit (approx. $700.00) and mail trail (approx 150.00) purchased from postal things. It has new goodyear tires with only 50 miles of use on them ($800.00), new fuel pump and wires ($360.00), and a new upper radiator hose ($10.00). It does NOT have a battery in it as someone stole it while I was charging it. The Jeep does run (when it has a battery), but needs some work. After about 4-5 hours on the mail route it tends to overheat the fuel pump. It does have a leak, I think it is power steering fluid, but the leak is very slow and does not hinder the vehicle in any way. No transmission problems to my knowledge, the 4 wheel drive works just fine, the heat and air (will need freon) both worked the last time I used the car as well. The car has been sitting for a few months but has been started once or twice a month until someone stole the battery 3 weeks ago. I am not a mechanic, nor do I know alot about vehicles.... just passing on what I know about it. I do not have the second seat for the front, the original steering wheel, or a radio for this vehicle. It does have postal decals on the back of the vehicle but I am sure they could be removed. There is a small piece of damage on the glove box which can be seen in the pictures as well as some damage above the back hatch window of the vehicle (also seen in the pictures). The back inside of the vehicle does not have carpet and has been covered in what I think is tin flashing. I purchased this vehicle about 3 years ago. I do have the correct title for the vehicle as well. The light bar on the top, back of the vehicle (seen in some of the pictures) is not included. I do understand that the Kelly Blue Book value is not close to what I am asking, however the tires and conversion kit with mail tray alone are worth the 1000.00.
