Hi, I am selling my 1971 Volkswagen Bus. It's a true Westfalia Camper Edition, pop up canvas tent, fold down bed, over head bed, sink, icebox, tons of closet and storage space, brand new 1600 cc engine, and a lot more.... These vehicles are super rare and with a little cosmetic work this bus has the potential to be worth a lot of money. Runs great, body is in decent shape, very minor rust. This bus is a great investment cause every year they just keep going up in value. Considering this van is 43 years old, it is in exceptional condition. More details: 900 miles on brand new 1600cc engine. I've put 400 of these miles on it since July. I bought the van in May of this year, with the intention of completing the body work, painting and keeping it indefinitely. However, I just recently bought 5 1/2 acres and can use $$$ to begin construction on a cabin, as well as make basic improvements to the land. As far as I can tell, this van is just about rust free. There is a very small amount of rust (1" diameter) behind the driver side rear wheel area. There are a few slight dents and one dent on the slider door. I have a box of new door & window seals, three manuals, sun visors. The poptop canvas is almost on completely, just needs about 6 hard to reach screws put in. New poptop main seal is already on. I installed a new main floor with black indoor/outdoor carpet. The previous owner said it's got new disc brakes all around and underbelly has been coated. There is an am/fm/cd/dvd/mp3/SD Card/USB stereo with small movie screen, alpine door speakers with rear 6x9 speakers. As you see, the front seats have been redone. The rear main seat is still original. I've got two new sunvisors. The headliner is original 1/16 wood veeneer and was on my list to replace.
