EVEN AFTER I OFFERED TO DELIVER THE VEHICLE which I stated in my auction that I couldn't do (but was trying to help him out), he refused to abide by contract or even communicate the fact that he wasn't going to buy the item. He never showed to look at the truck or called on the scheduled day of delivery. This truck is described as follows: - CLEAR TITLE - over $3000 worth of mechanic work done by a certified mechanic shop!!! - It runs and shifts great! (Starts with a single turn of the key and no pedal feed after warming up.) - Sounds GREAT through the glass packs (on truck now)! - NEEDS BRAKES FIXED, WINDOW CRANK MECHANISMS FIXED - less than 250 miles on new transmission build and motor upgrade DETAILS -NEEDS BRAKES FIXED. I think it needs a new Master Cylinder, not sure. -this truck runs and shifts great -body is straight for the year model -wheels and tires look good -tires are at about 45-60% tread life left I would say - this truck came from the factory with no A/C, and no power steering. I think the brakes are standard F100 brakes. - the motor is not the original (I think it's a 302) but it runs great - someone sprayed silly string on the fresh paint job. I wet sanded it, but it still needs a lot of work on the paint (I took the picture right after I washed it, the paint is fairly new but needs work to get it right). - before I got the pickup, someone flamed out the old carburetor and the hood shows the heat. It needs repainting. -paint on the body could be finished with wet sanding and a good buffer, and a new clear coat, I think...I'm not a professional painter. Also, it obviously has a bunch of chips and scratches as I've used it around the house. Also, there are several places along the sides, etc. where the clear is peeling. -the interior is just plain truck. The seat must have been re-covered, as I can't believe that would be the original seat cover. - headliner needs replacing -WINDOWS NEED NEW INTERIOR PARTS (I HAVE TWO EXTRA DOORS WITH WINDOW CRANK MECHANISMS, SOME EXTRA WHEELS, A QUARTER PANEL, ETC...SEE PICS BELOW) Also, I have the driver side door inner panel. It's off, but it's same color burgundy red and was taken off to work on the window cranks and interior door parts. These will go with the truck as part of the auction. Lights and signals work though. Also I put a horn button on the steering column because the center horn mechanism doesn't work. Thanks! AS BEFORE MENTIONED...I AM NOT A MECHANIC, so I may not can answer some questions. All I know is that it is an automatic transmission. The truck runs good to me. If there's anything wrong or not as listed, it's because I don't know about it. The auction is a no reserve, low starting bid, as-is auction for that reason. I used it to run about 15 miles to town and back once or twice a week, but I am now onto another project, and am selling this truck for some Christmas cash. Thanks!
