THRU A EBAY READER FOUND COMPLETE HISTORY OF T100RS 04695 Hi Terry Terry I found alll the information on the T100 R .The serial # on the Frame was 04695 and The # one the engine was T100R 04695 I sold this motorcycle through Robin in 2003 .I have all the records of the research I did to get the motorcycle registered correctly . The person who has made some changes on the motorcycle I had a Compatition Mag on it and different gas lines . I was the person that restorded this motorcycle . If you want to contact the person that has the motorcycle . and he wants to contact me you can give him my email address or my Phone # . Cheers Ken Brown HERE IS EMAIL FROM KEN Monday, November 26, 2012, 4:01 PM Hi Mike A little history on the bike .The bike was bought the brother of a friend of mine new in 1957 from Johnsons Motors .The bike at the time was on the floor at the time that he was down in that area .It one of the bikes was to raced at Daytona . He asked them if he could buy the bike and said yes .It was brought up to Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada in 1957 . It was never raced on the road .It was moto cross raced for many years and also hill climed It held the record for the fastes time up the hill for three years . It stayed in Victoria BC it whole life . The bike motor got separated from the frame throught its time here . I found the engine in a 1952 Rigid Frame in 1982 I have been restoring Pre - Unit Triumphs since the 1980 . In 1988 I found The matching Frame to this engine .I have involved with Pre - Unit Triumphs since 1962 . I new that this was a rare Triumph I am still rideing Pre - Unit Triumphs . I new many of the people that had at on time here in Victoria owned Triumphs in the old days so through contacting some of the I tracked down the missing that some the people still had and started restoring this bike back to as close as could what is looked like in 1957 . I have a picture taken of this after bike came to Canada three months later . I sold the bike in 2003 to a Samuel J Lang in New York . The bike registerd for road use the first time in 1962 to a Frederick Charles Hornbrook .I you want to Talk to me my Phone . any Time . Cheers Ken Brown THANKS TO KEN AND TERRY,THEY ARE FOWARDING ALL DOCUMENTS,PHOTOS,HISTORY,MAGAZINE ARTICLE ABOUT #04695 IN SEPT 2002 CANADIAN BIKER MAGAZINE, THIS BIKES HISTORY WILL BE PRETTY MUCH BE ABLE TO BE DOCUMENTED FROM NEW AT JOHNSON MOTORS CALIFORNIA IN 1957 TO ME AT CURRENT TIME.THE BIKE#04695 WAS RESTORED BY KEN BROWN AND FRESHENED UP BY JAY STRAIT(BRITECH OF NEW ENGLAND) WHO ALSO BROKERED THE DEAL FOR MY PURCHASE. I looked your bike up in the factory dispatch book and the build book and I can confirm it is in fact a T100R. The S just stands for Swingarm as the earlier T100RR was rigid. The original gearbox fitted to the bike was # 86399. One strange thing is that someone has told you it was in Johnson Motors in 1957 but the dispatch book states it was one of two T100RS that went to Fred Deeley ? (the handwriting is a bit hard to read) in Canada and left the factory on 6th Feb 1957. The other one was 04693. They made 144 T100RS in 1957 give or take (I did a quick count) Anyway nice bike Good luck
