Here is your chance to own a legend..... the first year production of the CRX SI! This is a 1 owner 1985 Honda Civic CRX SI. This car is amazing original condition. The only thing that has been replaced is 4 new tires! it has been stored inside its whole life and rarely driven in the rain. You wont see a cleaner one anywhere. It has 137k miles on it. I have been driving it the last couple of years to and from work everyday. The car has never been in any accidents or had any body work. The paint looks amazing. None of the interior is torn or broken and its all there....yes even the push button radio. Rear hatch area is all there even the cardboard under the carpet is still there and not damaged. Have original owners manual. It only has a one dime size spot of rust on the body by the sunroof. The front bumper cover has paint flaking off and has a stress crack which you can see in the photos. The is listed locally as well. On Dec-20-12 at 11:12:32 PST, seller added the following information: My Dad purchased the car for my Mom in 1985. I was with them at the dealership and purchased my 85 ex civic at the same time. It was garage kept always and never driven in wet or bad weather. That is why there is no rust anywhere on the underside that would be typical of this year. The jacking points, box stiffeners and floor boards have no rust! Being driven as a weekend fun car by my parents they only put 3 to 4 thousand miles a year on it. All routine maintenance was done always as my Dad is very particular about taking care of "Mom's baby"! The timing belt and water pump were performed at around 122k by a certified shop. Everything works on the car. The AC works fine but could stand a little recharging. I put brand new tires on it last year. My Dad is in his seventies now and quit driving a stick about 5 years ago. I myself am 49 yrs old. This car has never been driving by kids. I titled the car and have driven it off and on over the last 5 years or so.That is why the title reflects 2 owners. The car has never left our possession. It has been sitting in my warehouse since last year. The only known problem is the battery is probably needing replaced, from sitting so much. There is a very small oil leak which seems like the valve cover gasket but havent had time to look at it. It may just need tighten a little. You wont find any 100% original SI's in better condition anywhere at any price! You wont be disappointed! I also have the owners manuals and things that came with the car new.
