Vehicle Detail

Brought by Vessel from Europe to the USA by me. Made in Germany by Volkswagen. Correctly registered and titled in my name in the USA. This is a very roomy and tough heavy duty constructed vehicle. Has the following installation from Westfalia: Full kitchen, two burner stove that works on propane, hot and cold water kitchen sink, three way refrigerator, shower and bath sink, hot water heater, electric water pump, temperature controlled furnace, upper loft bed (very large), lower bed that is a two bench and table as well, flip up insulated windows, tons of cabinets and storage space, light fixtures for kitchen, bathroom and interior upper and lower level, New leisure battery, charging system that allows charging of both batteries but drains only leisure battery, large water tank, waste water tank, two bicycle car carrier, cargo compartment on roof, front power windows. The new: All 5 tires, alternator, exhaust system, starter, water pump, timing belt, belt pulley, battery, spark plugs, oil and filter, air filter, oil filter. This van is my daily driver, very dependable, like a Volkswagen should be, currently has two child car seats in front area with the driver. All gears work as they should, the van drives straight and feels tight and safe, steering and suspension work as it should with no wondering or noises. As far as the insurance, it qualifies for historic plates and the insurance is only 100 bucks a year. It also does not require to take for state inspection, even tho everything is correct. I always warm up before driving and change the oil and filter every 3k miles. I have taken it to many state parks, national parks and daily trips on the past 3 years. You can camp in it at freezing temperatures or rainy days. My kids an I have really enjoy it and since I am moving for work, can not take along with me. As far as looks it needs a paint job and if you are picky some bodywork. I decided to enjoy it rather to restore the cosmetics. Structurally it is solid. You can tell when driving it. I guess someone interested in a vehicle like this must have the VW culture inbeded inside like me. I have owned many volkswagens, but none as fun and as roomy as this one. I have all the maintenance documentation from Germany, UK and now the USA. This would definitely make a great Christmas family gift. You can drive it home and you can go camping on it right now as well. The buyer will get a full information package on how to keep up with the maintenance and where to get parts when you need them. I am asking a low price for a fast sale. Happy bidding and god bless.
