Let's try this again... Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1995 Honda Civic coupe that comes to us as a fresh Mitsubishi trade right here in York, PA. I would rate the exterior condition of this Civic to be AVERAGE for the age of this vehicle. As you can see, she is a decent looking Civic. The paint is blue-ish purple...like maybe Indigo...and obviously not original to the car. There is some orange peel visible...not the best I've seen, not the worst either. The most important thing about the exterior of this Civic is that I did not see any rust on the body. All of the lines are clean and line up properly. There are holes visible in the trunk lid from a previously installed spoiler but not noticable until you're up close. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The tires have good tread all around. This car is lowered with an adjustable coil over suspension. I was unable to tell the brand just from looking at it. It has the factory fogs and the headlights have been upgraded to HID's. Overall...not a bad looking car that is perfect for cruising around but not a show car by any stretch. I would rate the interior of this Civic as AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, the interior shows well. The seats and carpets look good. It has a wink mirror in place of the standard rearview which takes some getting used to. Also, the previous owner decided to write on the headliner for some reason. Overall, not bad for the age of the vehicle. A full set of owners books are included. Mechanically, this Civic appears to be in good running and driving condition. The original engine has been replaced with a B18B which is the original equipment engine in the Acura Integra RS/LS/GS. This is a direct bolt in upgrade for Civics as they are made on the same chassis as the Integra. The engine starts easily like it should. From what I can tell, the only modifications is the exhaust. The header is a DC Sports 4-2-1 and the muffler is Skunk2. I can't see what's between the header and the muffler. There is a check engine light on which is common in swap cars as not all connectors match up properly unless you change the entire harness which few people do. The clutch feels good. The transmission shifts well and does not grind. Out on the highway, she drives fine. It rides like you'd expect a Civic with coil-overs to ride. As a dealer, I must sell this vehicle as NOT ACTUAL MILES. The VIN decoder eBay uses pulls this vehicle up as a DX model with a manual trans. The cluster appears to be from an LX automatic sedan (if my Honda knowledge serves me correctly). If my memory is correct, the only coupe to have a tachometer was the EX which had a higher redline than this and the coupe was not available in LX trim...which suggests that the odometer reading in the car neither reflects the mileage of the body or the engine. There is a mileage mark on the engine of 145k but I have no idea how long it has been in this vehicle. Unfortunately, that's all the details I can provide. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as it was traded, unless otherwise noted in the written description. The written description we provide is based soley on our observations of the vehicle during our road test and should not be taken as any kind of official mechanical inspection done by a certified inspection mechanic. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, inspected vehicles for sale with NO RESERVE PRICE. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
