Up for auction is a 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit. 4 Door, 4 speed, Tan with tan interior. Car was bought as a commuter car because of the INSANE fuel mileage, with a light foot 50 MPG is achievable! Not bad for a 30 year old car. The long commute every day is now gone, so it's time for this car to pass on to a new owner. Maybe you want to convert it to run on cooking oil, maybe you're looking for a solid donor car for a TDI engine, maybe you just want the great fuel mileage the way it already is. This car has been well taken care of and runs, shifts and drives great. It's even got a sunroof! Obnoxiously loud air horn installed and connected properly too, everyone will know you're there. There is some very minor rust around the drivers side wheel well (see picture) it's not bad at all, mostly surface, and could be easily fixed. As far as I can tell this is the only rust on this car, everything else is rock solid. It would make an excellent christmas gift for someone, especially that young driver in your family. They're going to borrow gas money off you anyway, maybe it should cost you less. I've tried to include as many pictures as possible so there are no surprises when you come to pick it up. I've bought and sold a few cars on eBay over the last few years and my feedback is 100% positive, I want to keep it that way. Thanks for looking!
