I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1994 Mercury Tracer sedan. The Mercury Tracer is mechanically identical to the reliable and economical Ford Escort. I would rate the exterior of this Tracer to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking vehicle. Please expect to find some signs of typical wear associated with age and mileage. However, there is no noteworthy damage to report on the exterior of this vehicle. The finish shines well and looks good from any angle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. This Tracer is optioned with the "Trio" package. It has alloy wheels which are wrapped in nice rubber. A rear spoiler adds to the sporty look and feel of this vehicle. I would rate the interior of this Mercury Tracer to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for an older vehicle. The cloth seats show well and are very comfortable. The dash and headliner are both clean. The sun visors aren't the best...but that's honestly the worst I can say about it. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The stereo is original and works properly. The trunk is roomy for a small car. The original owners manuals are included as are two keys. It is obvious that someone took care of this vehicle. Mechanically, this Tracer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight all around. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this little car with no issues. The engine is peppy and makes good power for a car this size. This Tracer is equally at home running errands around town or out on the highway. She cruises at 80mph as smooth as silk with absolutely no complaints. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth and precise. This is a very easy car to drive. This vehicle is easily good for fuel economy in the mid 20's city and upper 30's highway. I would take this car anywhere without a second thought. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Bid Retractions/Changes: We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I have an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1994 Mercury Tracer sedan. The Mercury Tracer is mechanically identical to the reliable and economical Ford Escort. I would rate the exterior of this Tracer to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking vehicle. Please expect to find some signs of typical wear associated with age and mileage. However, there is no noteworthy damage to report on the exterior of this vehicle. The finish shines well and looks good from any angle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. This Tracer is optioned with the "Trio" package. It has alloy wheels which are wrapped in nice rubber. A rear spoiler adds to the sporty look and feel of this vehicle.
I would rate the interior of this Mercury Tracer to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for an older vehicle. The cloth seats show well and are very comfortable. The dash and headliner are both clean. The sun visors aren't the best...but that's honestly the worst I can say about it. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The stereo is original and works properly. The trunk is roomy for a small car. The original owners manuals are included as are two keys. It is obvious that someone took care of this vehicle.
Mechanically, this Tracer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight all around. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this little car with no issues. The engine is peppy and makes good power for a car this size. This Tracer is equally at home running errands around town or out on the highway. She cruises at 80mph as smooth as silk with absolutely no complaints. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth and precise. This is a very easy car to drive. This vehicle is easily good for fuel economy in the mid 20's city and upper 30's highway. I would take this car anywhere without a second thought. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash is the preferred method of payment. Other payment arrangements may be made, please contact us to make those arrangements.
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without specific arrangements and exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as it was traded, unless otherwise noted in the written description. The written description we provide is based soley on our observations of the vehicle during our road test and should not be taken as any kind of official mechanical inspection done by a certified inspection mechanic. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, inspected vehicles for sale with NO RESERVE PRICE. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
