1979 El Camino SS Drag Car Black on Black Factory options were as follows... When his dad passed away it was given to his son in the will. Paperwork from the will stating this car was to be given to his son will be included to the new owner. His son lives by my shop (Scottie's Speed Shop).. he isn't a car guy and had just bought a new house so I bought the car, engine, transmissions etc. a few years ago and then started getting all the parts together to complete the car. I am currently restoring a 1972 Chevelle of my own and several customers projects and just can't find the time to finish this car. Alot of the hard work is done and this car could be ready for the strip with a few weekends worth of work. The following parts are ALL NEW and have never been used or installed... There is light surface rust on some of the bare metal parts from storage but it wipes rite off. The engine is a real work of art.. 700 HP Balanced and Blueprinted Small Block Chevy, full Roller. The engine was professionally built before the man passed away. It has the Edelbrock dual quad set up, ARP studs,Comp Cam, Dart Heads, Moroso Deep Sump oil pan, Brass freeze plugs, Chrome Timing Chain Cover and much much more. This would be a easy winter project that will be ready for the spring. It just needs someone to spend some time with her and bring her back to life. These El Camino drag cars are wicked fast and a blast to run. There is no title for the car, I will provide you with a bill of sale and the paperwork from the will. I wanted to price this car where a guy could really build a competitive car on a workin' mans budget. My asking price for everything is less than the engine alone costs.... Don't need it all?.. buy it, use what you need and sell the rest to off-set your costs on the things you do need. This is a real once in a lifetime deal... I just need the shop space and need to concentrate on my Chevelle and other projects.
