1996 Mercedes Benz SL500 Listed this week is a very nice 1996 Mercedes Benz SL500. The car runs and drives out great. I have had it as a personal driver for the weekends for the last several months. This car, in my opinion, will make a return drive anywhere just fine. It is a joy to drive. The car does have a slight lifter noise that comes and goes. It has done it since I started driving the car and has not gotten any worse. In fact has quieted down from driving. I am NOT a mechanic, but in my thoughts, I believe it has a sticky lifter from not being driven for long periods of time. The interior as you can see is not perfect but is in good shape. The exterior and top are also very nice with less than average wear. Again nice car that I have personally driven and put several hundred miles on it. The car runs and drive great.
