Vehicle Detail

1969 Pontiac Lemans Convertible Numbers matching 350/2 Barrel with Hurst 4spd console 4 Wheel (non-power) Drum Brakes Power TopGTO Hood 14" Rally II'sOriginally Verdoro Green75,000 MilesClear California title for easy transfer. I have owned this car since 1991 and hate to sell it but just don't have the time to enjoy/restore it . Has been in storage since 2004 . Very rare manual 4spd Hurst shifter with steering column lock functional. Needs total restoration but is a very solid complete car. Fluids changed since storage. New battery , brake shoes and wheel cylinders. Good tires. Starts easily and runs. Has not been driven due to no registration. Original interior good for age. Original trim rings and center caps for Rally II'sin very good condition. Top cover in good condition. Polyglass spare unused. Was driven into storage with everything working except the Rally clock.Very unusual Le Mans with manual transmission. Restore it and never see another one like it or .... The ultimate blank canvas for a GTO tribute. Car is offered locally so I reserve the right to end auction at any time.Serious buyers please message me to discuss. Thank you. Car is in my parents garage in Rio Vista CA. I am not able to get to the car myself currently so I have had to get my mother to do the best she can with the pictures. I am the 3rd owner. This car was originally Verdoro Green. I believe in about 1979 this car had a blow out and side swiped a guard rail. This is why the car is now a GM Red(not sure the name...)The driver side fender and door were replaced with NOS . The 1/4 panel also received a bit of damage just behind door. There was no 1/4 panel replacements available in 79 so Bondo was used. Car could use a driver side 1/4 panel when restored. Both lower rear skirts have bondo just on the lower edge behind wheels from the repaint in 79. The lacquer paint used back in 79 is completely cracked up on both 1/4 panels. White paint spots on car and paint on trunk floor were done by me when I parked the car back in 2004.The old lacquer had been flaking off back to metal so I went around the car and hit all the spots where the paint had flaked off with some spray paint to try to minimize rust forming during storage. Seems to have done ok at slowing surface rust from forming. Trunk and floors solid with surface rust as shown. Suspension all original except for KYB replacement shocks. Steering very tight and feels solid on the road (even with original rubber bushings in the front end being shot and needing replacement...) This car is awesome to drive with the 4 speed which completely makes the car. Non LSD rear end.
