Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1990, hard to find base model Honda CRX HF (High Fuel). I purchased this car for the fantastic gas mileage and reliability and have owned it for years. This model gets the best of mileage for the CRX's because of the 'lighter' features, such as manual seats, manual windows and five speed standard transmission. I get 41-45 mpg on the highway at about 70mph with the A/C on. It has a cloth interior, it has seat covers over the wornout cloth seats, am/fm CD radio, a/c (works and blows cold, but you could get a new controller at some point, because the temp dial control is not working), the rear luggage cover is missing, but easy to find on ebay. Rear bumper and quarter panel needs to be fixed (I took it to Maaco, and they said they could fix it for about four hundred dollars). The electric radiator fan should be replaced at some point, it works fine, but will randomly make a whining noise. Driver side window currently not rolling up/down because of a little plastic clip that goes on the bottom of the window snapped, so I took off the door panel to fix it and haven't put it back on til it's fixed. So, the window doesn't roll up/down until a new retainer clip is put on the window. It has Xenon headlights. I am selling because I bought a new car and haven't been driving it for a while. Overall great, High Mile Per Gallon car, that I'd drive anywhere without hesitation. That's everything I can think of, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Check out my 100% feedback since 1998. On Dec-06-12 at 07:29:55 PST, seller added the following information: I have been told that my car is not an HF model, but an HX model according to the VIN. I don't know the difference. I was going on what I was told when I purchased it years ago - I apologize for any inconvenience. If any current bidders as of 12/6 retract their bid, I completely understand. Thank you.
