I am selling my 1997, hard to find base model Honda Civic. I purchased this car for the fantastic gas mileage and reliability. This model gets the best of mileage for the civics because of the 'lighter' features, such as manual seats, manual windows and five speed standard transmission. With cold A/C blowing cold, I get about 39-44 mpg depending on how fast I go. It has a clean cloth interior that is in good condition, am/fm CD radio, a/c, and newly tinted windows. I just bought a new family car and currently am not using it. If I were keeping the car, and to make perfect, I would do a few things..., such as fix the dent in the pass. front door (hard to see in pic), replace the hood that has a few minor indentions, front bumper has a hole in it (see pics), replace valve seals (smokes a little sometimes when it's first started), replace driver side visor, and replace the throwout bearing (I think) the car makes a rattle when the clutch is not pressed, but when you press in the clutch it goes away, but i've been driving it that way for a long time. It doesn't impact it's performance at all, just sounds weird. Overall great, High MPG car, that I'd drive anywhere without hesitation.
