An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Ford Explorer XLS 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this vehicle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this unit. As you can see, this is a good looking SUV. It is finished in a medium blue with tan interior. The finish on this Explorer shows well for its age. Please expect to find some flaws in the finish, small dings, scratches and scuffs as typical of an older vehicle with over 100k miles. Overall, there is no noteworthy damage to report on this one. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. This Explorer is optioned with alloy wheels which are wrapped in a matching set of tires with decent rubber all around. The most significant feature of this Explorer is that it does not appear to have any of the typical "Explorer rust" which commonly appears in the rockers and under the doors/tail gate. I would rate the interior condition of this Explorer to also be AVERAGE for the age and mileage. The interior is generally clean throughout. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The seats show well and are comfortable throughout. The center arm rest is broken (as is the case with nearly all of these Explorers). This Explorer is optioned with power windows, locks and mirrors. The right rear door doesn't always unlock properly and sometimes fights you to get it open. The climate control system appears to be in proper working condition. The stereo sounds good, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Explorer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this truck feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Explorer with no issues. Out on the road, her driving manners are good. She rolls nice and smoothly down the road. The engine keeps proper temperature and good oil pressure. On the highway, this Explorer cruises effortlessly with no complaints. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
