This Scout is a one of a kind for many reasons, but the best is that nobody has ever seen one quite like it. There’s nothing better than having the baddest car around. I always find myself noticing people following this truck with their eyes as I drive past. Everywhere I go I get people stopping me to take a closer look and ask questions. Fellow Scouters always stop me and mention how nice the truck looks. It is awesome being a part of a vintage truck brotherhood and having one of the best ones. Over the years I did a ton of work to this Scout. There is almost no rust on this Scout. It is a great find. I purchased this truck when I was 16 and she was my highschool sweetheart. I took it to prom and everything. Now that my family is growing it is terribly impractical since the twins were born. It just sits in the garage. the only time I enjoy it is when I start her up every month to run the fluids through, but I have to sell her. It is like filing for divorce.She runs very good, and has a nice sound with flowmaster mufflers. This Scout has a custom fabricated external roll cage that is detachable. The transmission is a T-19 with the synchro mesh.Upgraded 3” extra thick walled drivelines with custom made CV joints.Dana 60 front end differential with 35 spline axles.Front end shackle reversal with 3” wide leafs for further articulation of the tires.Dana 70 rear end full floating differential with 3” wide leaf springs.Dana 20 transfer caseUpgraded dual exhaust system.345 v8 EngineRemovable TopExtra bright double wattage backup lights and off road lights in custom bumperTow bar included.Custom made door panels, and dash coverCustom made 11/2 inch solid tie rod and drag link.Hydra boost brake system upgrade.
