This 1970 LT1 Roadster is one of the very best available. This car is incredibly original and judged to be the best. It retains its original engine, transmission, and rear end. The interior is 100% original and is great condition .The paint has very well blended touch ups on the rear quarter panels , and possibly one on the front of the hood . The paint was judged this summer at Bloomington gold to be more then 50% original . The original factory and dealer documentation are also included, consisting of the tank sticker, warranty book and pamphlet, protecto-plate, and owner's manual. . This car was featured in the book The Cars of Bloomington with several pages and photos in the book , a copy of the book is included in the sale .This was recently on the cover of the NCRS Driveline and the rear cover in 2012 . This summer this it received the highest award, The Bloomington Benchmark, for an unrestored original car. This award means that the car is unrestored and passed the Bloomington survivor award and also passed the Bloomington Gold award at the same show . To pass Bloomington Gold your car must be within 95% of show room condition . To have both survivor and gold is very hard to do and is quite rare . This car also has earned multiple Top Flight awards this year, one of the scores was 97.2%. It runs perfectly and presents itself beautifully. There are two 4" binders of documentation and receipts relating to the maintenance and preservation of this car. It has extensive owner history with titles and registrations as well as names and addresses of previous owners. This is a two top car and comes with the original painted hard top as well as a white convertible top the soft top is dated to the car but I do not know if it is original to the car . This is a late May car. It was ordered with power steering, power brakes and deluxe leather interior. the exhaust was changed in 1997 and is very close to factory correct but is not carbon steel .
