Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1973 honda cb350 cafe racer. I did all of the modifications to make it a cafe style bike. The frame has been shortened and a custom steel tail was made and fit on. The exhaust is also redone and run as high pipes and wrapped with black heat wrap half way down.(I would redo the wrap to go farther down the pipes if I did it again). The bars are european style and just flipped upside down to give it a lower rider position. It has newer kenda tires on the original 18 inch spoked wheels. The paint on the tank and side covers is in alright condition but the tail is still just in primer. The tail is securely fastened to the frame but the seat pad is just sitting on there. I was going to velcro it but did not come up with a way that i liked, so that will need to be done. There are a few things that will need to be done to the bike. first it has a coil that is bad, the wire broke off right at the coil and there is no way to reattach it. It does not start at this point but it ran just fine right before the wire broke. The rear brakes are new. There is a leak from the right side fork seal. The motor is actually a cl360 that was swapped in long before i got the motorcycle, I do not know the actual mileage of the motor itself but the odometer reads 30k miles and i dont believe it to be the mileage of the motor. The photos show the bike without the black wrap on the pipes and with a front fender. The fender is no longer installed but will come with the motorcycle. Please ask any and all questions you may have and I would be happy to answer them. Thank You.It does have a newer chain and front sprocket. The sprocket is one tooth small than stock. The rear sets are made using parts from a zx6 and the old passenger peg mounts. I've added a detail photo of the rear set mount and of the bike with wrap on the pipes and no front fender. you can see a small amount of surface rust has started on the pipes. I meant to pull the wrap off and paint the pipes, but didn't have the time.
