Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is is a very nice 1970 Plymouth Road Runner. It is an original V- code 440-6bbl car equipped with the Hurst Pistol-Grip 4-speed. The car retains it's original 3;54 Dana rear end. The engine is original to the car; it is an early production 1970 V-code so it does have the correct aluminum Edelbrock intake; later 70 V-codes will have the cast-iron pieces. The transmission is the correct 18-spline 4-speed but is not the numbers matching one. The car is an original FC7 In-Violet/Plum Crazy purple car. Also equipped with the desirable Air-Grabber option which works flawlessly. Front disc-brakes with drums in the back; power booster has been added. Car runs very well with all the power you would expect; transmission, brakes all good. All factory gauges work including the Tic-Toc-Tac, Road Runner horn, hood mounted turn signals, reverse light, parking brake, all just fine. All chrome and glass very nice. The car originally had a white vinyl roof and a console shift 4-speed. As you can see the roof is now black and it has been switched over to a non-console. This was done by the previous owner but could be changed back if so desired. The car has a few issues that need addressing. On the upper driver's side quarter panel there is a dent with minor paint scuffing. Car rolled back against a tree pushing in the metal. I have included a picture to try and show this however it is a bit hard to get it to show up. It isn't anything major but it should be dealt with at some point. The radio does not work, the front marker lights need the plastic pieces that holds the bulbs in place and one of the mufflers has a hole in it...will need to be replaced. Car is otherwise straight with no known rust issues. I encourage all potential bidders to contact me through this ebay listing and I will send you my phone number ( or send me yours) and we can discuss the car in more detail; I find this the best way when trying to buy/sell a car over the internet. Shipping is the sole responsibilty of the buyer, US bidders only. As with any old car, there is no warranty expressed or implied. While this car is no trailer queen, it is a beautiful high driver quality V-code 4-speed High-Impact color 1970 B-Body that will do you proud anywhere you take it. Low reserve so bid to own. Thanks and Good Luck
