PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING THANKS FOR LOOKING...... if you want to talk on the phone just email me UP FOR AUCTION IS A CLASSIC 1961 Impala 2dr Hardtop #'s matching V8 Automatic factory power steering car email me if your interested, i can send as many pics as you want, and can answer any questions.... here are the current book values, this is a number 3 car or better.... hagerty.com/valuationtools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vc=892701961 Impala 2dr Bubble Top 283 2bbl V8 w/2 speedAutomatic Power Glide transmission Drivetrain: Numbers matching factory V8 - 2 speed Auto (2 bbl car converted to 4bbl with the correct GM 4 bbl intake and a Edelbrock carb, original intake and 2bbl carb/air cleaner is included in the sale), this set up runs very well, it's got a happy and healthy motor that idles smooth and starts right up, just gave her a tune up with new distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, the oil is nice and clean, valves and valve seals look good, no smoking or idle issues (has about 100k original miles on the motor/trans and the car, the odometer is accurate). The power glide transmission shifts smoothly, no bad noises or slipping, this car rides nice! Newer dual exhaust with cherry bombs sounds real good, , (previous owner added oil pressure gauge and voltage gauge that both work). I have several 8x10 photos of the car from the previous owner, when it was first pulled out of storage, those are included in the sale.All original, 283 V8 2bbl / power glide, power steering car, (she has had 1 repaint approx 11 years ago and an interior kit a few years back), the trunk looks very nice and solid & still has the original speckled paint, it's never been touched, has the original drum brakes and she stops great, nice and straight with no pulling to either side, the FACTORY power steering works well, you can steer with your pinky finger.20"x 9" torque thrust style Panther CHROME wheels in the rear, 18"x 8" up front with new directional Nexen tires,, rides nice and smooth with a fat foot print, no clearance issues, everyone compliments the wheels, they fit the car nicely.(if you don't like the wheels i'll keep them and we can deduct it off the price of the car, i have a set of 14" steel wheels and SS hubcaps I would substitute in at no additional cost, pics available)Beautiful red & black interior newly covered seats, door panels, rear arm rest panels and headliner, with no rips, tears or burns, etc. . . Matching headliner and sun-visor's also recovered and perfect, all the aluminum trim is there and nice, not dinged or damaged, (the aluminum interior trim could be polished out to look like a mirror as they are in such good condition, email me if you want more detailed pics)Paint and Body work is nice driver quality, very straight and solid car, hood, deck lid, fender and door gaps are nice, it's clear this car has never been wrecked or had panels replaced, (I was going to repaint it silver and do a frame off as this is the perfect car for that, you could easily have a $35-40k car when you're done and it wouldn't take much!), Original color was beige (the paint code is 920 Fawn Beige), inner rockers need work and there are a few typical chips/blemishes/scratches on the paint (see pics), passenger side wheel tub has rust under the battery tray (common due to battery location), doors, hood, fenders, quarters, & trunk are all solid and original, toe boards have been replaced on the dr/psngr rear side, all the stainless steel and aluminum exterior trim is in great shape, bumpers are nice, the chrome has the typical fading but no dents or major damage, 1 dent on the rear valance below the passenger side bumper.(see pics) All glass is in great shape. The chrome/aluminum window trim is in great shape as well.Clean Clear title in my name, car is currently registered and insured, ready to drive.This '61 BUBBLE TOP COUPE is ready to cruise or you can restore her how you like, it's your call, The dash is in great shape, has all the proper trim, original radio (dash hasn't been cut or altered), all looks good, steering wheel has original bright work and emblems.**you do not have to buy the car if you don't like what you see when you come to pick it up (i am confident that won't be the case, but i just want to throw that out there, most sellers require a non refundable deposit and won't let you back out of the deal if needed), but that's not the case here...
