Vehicle Detail
1976 Pontiac Catalina survivor in very good, original condition. Rust free body with original paint that still shines. Original vinyl top is in excellent condition. Door hinges are in good shape-doors close correctly and do not sag. Interior is in excellent condition. No rips in seats, carpet or headliner. Windows and doors seal tight, radio and cruise control, a/c, and heat all function correctly. A/c has been converted to R134 and blows cold. Mechanically, the car is very good to excellent. No fluid leaks. Starts right away. Idles smooth, shifts correctly and has plenty of power. Steering is tight. No squeaks or rattles. All fluids, filters, belts and hoses are in good shape. Glides effortlessly straight down the highway. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. This car is 35+ years old, and does have some normal, minor imperfections that I have tried to show in the pictures. The windshield has a small fish eye on the passenger side. The clock in the dash is only accurate twice a day. The front of the car has small chips in the paint from use. A few minor parking lot dings mainly on the passenger side. The spare tire needs to be replaced. This car has spent it's entire life in sunny, dry Grand Junction Colorado. It has been garage kept since new. Spare belts, parts and car cover included. Book value is $5200.00, the reserve is substantially less. I am open to all reasonable offers. Bidders with a score of less than 5 must contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. $200 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close via paypal. Remainder to be paid upon pickup using verifiable funds. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/transportation costs.
