I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate an auto service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photographs BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 Volvo V70XC. I would rate the exterior of this vehicle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in two tone silver over gray with black leather interior. The finish on this Volvo shows well. There is minor damage to the nose of the hood and center of the front bumper. My guess is that both happened at the same time. Otherwise, there is no noteworthy damage to report on the exterior of this Volvo and it appears to have been well cared for. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well. The tires are on the thin side of average all around. Please review each of the photos closely. I would rate the interior condition of this V70XC to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean all around. The black carpet shows well, also. The black leather seats are some of the nicest I've ever seen in a used Volvo. Black interior is rare enough in a Volvo...let alone in this condition. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The dash is clean as well. The drivers window will not go up and the right rear door seems to be missing the insides. There is a regulator in the cargo area. I would guess it belongs in the right rear door. I don't know if it works or not. This XC is equipped with the winter package which includes heated seats. The stereo is the original equipment with CD which sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. Mechanically, this V70XC will definitely need some attention. The 2.4L turbocharged 5 cylinder engine starts easily. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Due to a transmission issue, I have not driven this Volvo as much as I usually do. From what I can gather after a few laps around my gravel outdoor storage lot, the suspension feels nice and tight. The steering feels tight and responsive. The engine makes good power. There is a check engine light on for a cam position sensor code. This makes the idle a little choppy but doesn't appear to be affecting anything else. The engine has good accelleration and keeps good temperature. The transmission in this vehicle does not seem to want to go backwards. It will engage reverse but does not actually go backwards. It does seem to go forwards with no problems and shift properly going forward. I've done a little research. There is a chance that you will not need to replace the transmission. There are folks out there on the Volvo forums who have switched fluids/replaced solenoids and been fine. There are no transmission errors coming up in my computer and it does not have the "up arrow of death". For the purposes of this advertisement, I am going to simply list it as "needs transmission". My hope is that it is not that serious but I want to sell it as "worst case" so the buyer is not disappointed. From what I can see, this vehicle can be driven (forward only). However, I would recommend having it towed to your location to avoid potential problems. That is everything I know. I always welcome questions. Just keep 'em simple...I'm not a mechanic. While I do have extensive experience with Volvo's, I do not have Volvo specific diagnostic equipment or tools which would be needed to pull the specific fault codes. There are folks out there on the Volvo forums who have switched fluids/replaced solenoids and been fine. There are no transmission errors coming up in my computer and it does not have the "up arrow of death". For the purposes of this advertisement, I am going to simply list it as "needs transmission". My hope is that it is not that serious but I want to sell it as "worst case" so the buyer is not disappointed. From what I can see, this vehicle can be driven (forward only). However, I would recommend having it towed to your location to avoid potential problems. That is everything I know. I always welcome questions. Just keep 'em simple...I'm not a mechanic. While I do have extensive experience with Volvo's, I do not have Volvo specific diagnostic equipment or tools which would be needed to pull the specific fault codes. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.

Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
