Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1985 Chevrolet K10. Now while I'm sure you can tell by looking at her, this pickup was a restoration about 5 years ago. Having said that, there are 20,000 miles on the new engine and transmission, with 160+K on the chassy. Body: New lights, lenses, and halogen headlights New chrome front and rear bumpers New grill and head light bezels New fiberglass front wheel wells All new glass and gaskets New doors New cab corners New bed and tailgate Class II trailer hitch with EBC New GM fender wheel lip moldings New bed liner Undercarriage triple epoxy coated Frame/Suspension: Sandblasted and painted with epoxy paint New gas tank, sending unit, and straps New 4 leaf rear/3 leaf front springs 5 Rancho RS5000 gas shocks, including steering stabilizer New brake lines, master cylinder, front rotors, calipers, rear wheel cylinders New U-joints, front center link, and tie rods Warn manual locking hubs 15x8 Centerline Hellcats Drive Train: New 208 transfer case SM465 HD 4 speed trans with granny low New HD ceramic-kevlar clutch, set 12 inches New 3.73 gears, 10 bolt front/12 bolt rear New 350 block, 4 bolt main, bored .40 over, 4 bolt main, pistons, rings, crank shaft, doubler roller timing chain, Lumati cam and lifters set, cam bearings, freeze plugs, double hump heads, 1.60 hardened valves with 3 angle job, 400 crank, Summit HEI distributor, 650 cfm Edelbrock carb Hedman headers, 2.25 in. Flowmaster exhaust with hi-flo cats and Flowmaster 40s thanks to VA inspections Interior: New carpet New seat and foam New dash Headliner New lights in dash cluster 4 in. tach Sony X-Plod head unit 4 new 4x6 Alpine speakers in dash, 2 tweeters The bad: She was an Iowa pickup for a good while, so you can expect your typical Midwest rust. The driver's rocker has gone through, and the shocks show surface rust, along with the headers. Other than that, she's pretty well rust free. The front brake line running from the passenger wheel through the frame rusted through, so there's a leak. All other lines were professionally checked, and that's the only lemon. While the brakes are still operable, the pressure doesn't hold. Pads are new and cylinders were resurfaced less than 1,000 miles ago. Last of the bad, the electronic locks need hooked up, and the driver's window is spotty about deciding whether to go down or not. It's been hooked up to a volt reader, and everything checks out. I've done the best I could describing the pickup in current condition, but I'm sure I've missed something. No warranty exists, expressed or implied, and the vehicle is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction early. All in all, you're getting a great pickup with loads of potential here. It wouldn't take much work to get her back to show condition. I'm selling because I'm in the military and changing station to overseas, so taking the pickup isn't much of an option. I hate to see her go, but you'll be mighty happy if you end up with it. If you have any questions, or would like more pictures, feel free to message me at jason_peters23@hotmail.com. My name's Jason.
