Vehicle Detail

Rare. And a cheap way to get all the looks in a group of classics. THE SILVER VAN PICTURED LAST IS AN EXAMPLE OF A COMPLETE RESTORATION. IT IS NOT THE VAN FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION. 13 Window "GMC HandiVan Custom" (yes it has the dash pad, and yes it's fully intact) Easy project, could be on the road tomorrow. Runs great, shifts fine, clutch is good, breaks are good. New windshield, and the rest of the glass is great. New tires. Engine is a later model straight-6: 270" - Transmission is a manual 3 speed on the column "3 on the tree" No rust to speak of. Normal patina for a '65 West coast vehicle. All the medal is solid, body and frame. Still has a driver's seat, but all the others were removed before I bought it. Mazda Miata seats and hardware are a great fit for these vans up front. Anything can be done with the cargo area. I've bought new turn signals and bezels to go with her. I intended on turning her into a camper van, but I'm looking for a 13'-16' pull-behind now. So let this girl go. Regarding the pics: The scaffolding has been removed and the previous owner kept it. The doghouse cover over the engine is removed as I was prepping for restoration, but it will go with the van. Again, the silver van pictured below is an example of an exquisitely restored 13 window G van. (the ideal end state in my opinion) It also needs to be noted that the "Vanner" community is warm and welcoming in my experience, and there seems to be an endless amount of help and advice out there for the folks who own these early vans. Every owner I've met has been more than passionate about there "earlys." Happy bidding. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs, I will accommodate to the best of my ability. $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of auction. And please, I have dealt with more than my share of scammers, so please bid with intent to pay. These scams are as transparent as the day is long.
