This is a 1962 Pontiac Le Mans Tempest convertible. The car runs and drives well and is very attractive. This is by no means a show car or anything close, just a nice grocery getter. The engine is strong and the transmission shifts nicely through the gears. The brakes are good. The car does not leak, smoke or overheat. The body is decent with no visible rust and the car appears to be rust free. The undercarriage, frame and floors are solid without any rust. The trunk is rust free as well. The paint finish is shiny and very presentable. There are scrapes, scratches, nicks, chips, dings, etc. Nice original chrome with normal wear. The interior is in very good condition. The seats have no major wear, marks, rips or tears. The factory original radio is in place, however it does not work. There is an aftermarket radio in the glove box. This car at some point was issued a salvaged title. We believe the front has been changed out and has an earlier grill and headlight assembly from an earlier model year. The soft top is in poor-fair condition and as a bonus we will provide the new owner with a new soft top kit and fabric. This is a nice old car that can be driven “As Is” or restored to perfection. Actual mileage is unknown. The car is currently registered in the State of California and both front and rear plates are present. They were only removed for photo purposes.
