Vehicle Detail

For sale is a great running 1967 Pontiac Catalina. There is nothing better than driving this car, with the top down. It is big, and rides like a dream. It is smooth, quiet, powerful, and ready for road trips. The 1960's styling is very hard to beat. There is nothing else like it on the road. Everything works, including the added on stereo below the dash. This would make a fantastic car to restore or customize, or just leave it like it is and enjoy the open air. I have been driving it every evening, even as it is getting cooler outside. It has a very good heater, with a blower that will keep you cozy and warm after the sun goes down. The power top works perfectly, just push the switch, and the top goes right up, or down, in a few seconds. I just leave it down all the time. Since these pictures were taken, I have added a new steering wheel, and got a full set of new black door panels from Ames performance. I also got got several other small replacement parts such as weatherstripping and door bumpers, I have kept the price of the car the same even though I have spent several hundred dollars on the car in the past few weeks. I want to get the car as nice as can be for the next owner. I will add the new updated pictures when I get a chance. The car has a very good body, which was repainted several years ago. There is no rust out anywhere on the outisde of the car. I found a couple of small areas in the trunk, and under the carpet, no bigger than 2". These areas have been repaired, but I want to be honest and tell about the car. The paintwork is sub par, but I have priced the car low enough to cover it. The worst thing about the car is the quarter panels, they were poorly repaired during the repaint 20 years ago. This would be a very nice car with some cosmetic work. Like I said, you can leave it like it is, restore it, or customize it. It is a blank canvas for your creativitiy. Mechanically the car is great. It will not need any mechanical work of any kind. The 400 V8 Engine runs smooth and powerfully. The engine appears to have been rebuilt. It has the 2 barrel carburetor, so it is easy on gas. The turbo 400 transmission works perfectly, shifts smoothly, with no leaks. The manual drum brakes work perfectly. The car does have power steering, which is effortless. The car always starts the first time, no surprises or dissapointments. The radiator looks new. Under the hood looks nice, clean, with no oil leaks or problem areas. The car is very easy to work on, plenty of room to get at everything. The car drives good, even on the expressway, where it holds its own in modern traffic. The car also has the rear fender skirts, but has the incorrect hubcaps, so the skirts don't actually clear the hub caps. The spoke hub caps appear to be from a Riviera. Pontiac rally's would look great on there, and are available at every junkyard. I have tried to be clear about he car. This is a really cool, 60's car. It runs and drives great. The bodywork and paint need to be redone, if you want it really looking good. The car has a current Georgia Registration, and bill of sale. I can provide the Georgia T22B form, which verifies the VIN numbers for the car. Georgia does not require a title on this car, so check with your local tag office to see what you will need if your state requires a Title. You should have no problem, with the current registration and bill of sale. This car is for sale on a face-to-face, cash basis. No scammers please. I do not want to ship the car to some fictional address, or have money wired to my account from a 2nd party. I would like you to come and see the car, lets negotiate a great deal, and you can drive the car home. If that is not possible, then I can hold the car for 14 days while you arrange a carrier pickup. If you do purchase the car, I would like a $1000 deposit on the car within 48 hours of the sale. This can be on Paypal, or cashiers check. This is a great car, I know you will love it, Thanks for looking. Fine Print: I am only interested in selling this car locally. No overseas, or second party offers. I do not need any help selling this car. I do not intend to ship it to some other country or wait for some kind of kings ransom to be shipped to me or wired to my accounts. Cash sale, face to face only thanks. Thanks for looking
