I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. When I compare something as "average" I am comparing it against the average of similar year and mileage used vehicles on the road, not the average on a dealer's retail sales lot. I want you to know exactly what you are buying so you can bid with confidence. Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a 97 Nissan Maxima. This mid-size sedan is in decent shape for the age and mileage. The interior of the car is in good shape. The seats are comfortable and easy to adjust. The Nissan cloth upholstery holds up very well. There are not any holes, large stains, or unpleasant odors. The headliner is in good condition. There is a full set of well used floormats in the trunk. The aftermarket stereo has decent sound quality. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all work as they should. This Maxima is painted a dark green that looks almost black in some lighting. As you can see in the pictures, this car has quite a few dings and blemishes. It does not appear to have been in an accident, it just looks like it has seen quite a few parking garages and a lot of street side parallel parking. The radial tires have between half and a third treadlife left. All the lights and glass are in good condition. The V6 engine in this car fires right up and has good power. Nissan used this engine in quite a few vehicles and it was rated as one of Ward’s Ten Best almost every year it was produced. The automatic transmission shifts easily. The suspension could use a little work. It is bouncy and makes noise. It feels like it needs shocks all around. The brakes stop the car well, but they make noise and should be replaced soon. This car has a current PA annual safety and emissions inspection good through the end of January 2013. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as it was traded, unless otherwise noted in the written description. The written description we provide is based soley on our observations of the vehicle during our road test and should not be taken as any kind of official mechanical inspection done by a certified inspection mechanic. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, inspected vehicles for sale with NO RESERVE PRICE. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
