this is a very nice 39 chevy built by my son and I and a few friends I have owened it for about ten years it was redone about 4 yrs ago so it is not perfect but it is in good shape, the motor is a 96 vortec just put in it had about 35,000 miles on it when it was put in the 39,I have only drove it about 15 miles since it was put in. the trans is a well built 350 with about the same mileage it has a 2700 stall conv. this truck is in the oct. 2011 goodguys mag. from the Des Moines show,it is in the world of wheels mag. from the Omaha 2011 show, and in the 2012 torque fest video-and yes I drove it around the dirt track and it was very muddy. The susp- front is a 69 nova sub-frame with 2 inch lowering springs and spindles, {also have a set of stock springs to go with truck} with a disc brake conversion,the rear is based off a s-10 truck{leaf spring} with air shocks,rearend is a 90's camero 3:73 gears with disc brakes, it has a built in hidden hitch system but I have never towed anything with it.it drives and rides very nice. the front sheet metal is a 36 ford grill modified to fit 38 1-ton chevy fenders, 40 chevy cab,s-10 seats, box is raised {so cab looks chopped}, shortened 18 inches,stainless steel polished bed stripes, nice wood floor gas fill in box floor, box has two compartments in it front is for storage and has built in battery box in the floor. It has a new a/c heat and defrost unit that is installed but not plumbed in-have all the stuff to do it just never did, please ask any questions I will answer, I can deliver for a price thanks for lookingOn Nov-20-12 at 17:39:15 PST, seller added the following information: after seeing pics on ebay I want it to be known the body and paint was done about 4yrs ago there are some bad spots-this truck has been driven I will post pics of those spots wed 11-21 thank you On Nov-20-12 at 22:15:53 PST, seller added the following information: ok pics are added it is hard to see but ther is a crack in body work on front of drivers fender and a dent also side of drivers fender has a crack in body work, on drivers side box is also a crack in the body work, and drivers door bottom has a good size chip on the bottom, this truck has been driven and enjoyed so do not think it is flawless, when the body shop did the last body work and paint not much time was spent for perfection-we were after a fun truck that could be driven and look bad ass all the stripe work was done by hand just wanted to mark sure you do not think this truck is perfect the motor with single holley carb ,black valve covers is the vortec in the truck any questions please call 712-246-8119 or email
