The text below should be considered by prospective bidders as terms of sale: I'm selling my 1987 Honda Magna VF700CH, known by collectors as the SuperMagna. This motorcycle has the comfort of the cruiser riding position wed to the straight-away speed that will keep you thrilled due to its liquid-cooled 700CC V4 engine which enjoys high RPMS (red line ~12,000 rpms). The Supermagna is fast in the straightaway and tight in the turns. The bike has only ~14,300 miles on it, but I still ride it so the exact mileage will be higher upon sale, but not by much. I bought the bike in 2009, but I'm graduating from college and need money to help me find a job so I don't end up back at home. The bike is candy red and chromed, inspired by the great American sport cars. The up-swept quad-exhaust is stock and the the most attractive feature of the bike in my opinion. I constantly get asked what I'm riding and everyone is shocked when they hear that the bike is stock! The ENTIRE bike is stock except: 1. Seat re-upholstered by Travelcade2. Kuryakyn chrome grips3. FC2 Forward Controls by Refined Cycle (Refined Cycle FC2)4. License Plate Relocation5. K&N high performance air filter (with appropriate restrictor for this model) I have the stock parts in good condition and can include them in the sale IF YOU REQUEST BEFORE AUCTION CLOSE. I have all original manuals and the mechanics service manual. The best part of Supermagna ownership is being part of the owner's group, SMOG. There are a TON of daily active members who help each other out with technical knowledge of the bike, restoration projects, mods, or just maintenance. Oil and fluids and carbs were all cleaned/serviced in September 2010 and the tires have plenty of tread left. **This motorcycle is currently for sale locally via private ad placements for $2,500.00. If it is bought locally, I reserve the right to end this listing early.
