In 1969, ONLY 912 total vehicles of this "special breed" were produced. The 1969 Hurst Oldsmobile with its amazing brand new look that had a gorgeous Firefrost Gold and Cameo White color combination; its amazing hood scoops could get anyone's attention and was the car that was dubbed the "Hairiest Oldsmobile" by Motor Trend Magazine. It was a "RARE Beast" even back in 1969 when it was built! Not only is this car a rare 1969 Hurst Edition Oldsmobile, it has ONLY 83,184 original miles in its mainly "unmolested" condition. The car is in good working order. Backed up with iron clad documentation of its "Broadcast/Build sheet, original owner's manual as well as delivery to the dealer documentation when it was new. The 455 H.O. packs plenty of power. This car is believed to have been with only two owners from new in our research. The last owner having it for almost 18 years. With no signs of accident or rust, the exterior and original paint are in very good condition. The interior has remained original as well and shows to a very high standard, no rips or tears. THE OEM RPM Guage was replaced with a period correct RPM guage for the era. We provided a full extensive service prior to listing it for sale, inclusive of all fluids, filters, brake flush, diff, rear end, transmission service as well as coolant system. A fresh tune-up allows it to scream just like it did when it was built. The exhaust is original as well, with the exception of period correct "Glass-Pac" mufflers that sound incredible. Out of the 912 built this has to be one of the best examples of a fully documented car left on the road. It is coated in the original Cameo White with Firefrost Gold accents. The car rides on original style 15"x7" Super Stock II wheels with fresh Goodyear Polyglas F60-15 6T tires. The Turbo 400 transmission shifts smoothly with zero issues. The positrac 3:23 rear end is set up to make for an extremely nice cruiser with plenty of room to get up and go if needed. All of the chrome and glass are in superior condition. It is truly a investment grade vehicle. The original interior is as if new as well, and finished in all black. The gold accents on the headrests are correct along with wood grain accents. The original AM radio is in place. Original spare tire. Even the rare "courtesy light" package interior dome lights are there and working. The dual gate shifter is mounted in the center console and is a feature specific to the H/O cars.
