Normal 0 1977 Ford F150 Ranger XLT 4x4 Styleside: Here’s your chance to own a really nice 1977 Ford Pickup Truck from the West and it has a clean title w/approximately 106k miles. The VIN # does not show up in a search and that is due to its age but a build sheet may be purchased by the auction winner through the Ford Motor Company. It has never been subjected to our winters. For example, rock salt or sand. So it is a very solid truck with minor surface rust on the frame (see pictures). It has a strong 351 modified motor, the four-wheel drive works very well and the automatic transmission shifts smooth. The breaks, all of the lights, the true dual exhaust, and the steering work very well too. The oversized TOYO M/T Open Country 33x12.5x50 R15 LT tires have about half of their tread left on them. The truck was repainted by the prior owner and isn’t perfect but shows well. The original color was and it is about the same color blue as it is now. I removed one of the tailgates chrome tie-downs so you could see the original color. There have been many updates and repairs performed and you won’t be disappointed with this pickup. Repairs include but are not limited to: New windshield, windshield gasket and Tinted Sliding Rear Window.Many new interior components that include door panels, bench seat cloth, recent headliner, window crank mechanisms and anti rattle widow gaskets. New universal joints for the two front wheels hubs.New grill Inserts, new tail light assemblies, new headlights and all other bulbs have been replaced with new gaskets. New ignition lock, door locks and keys.New Kenwood Radio with removable faceplate, remote and new Kenwood door speakers. You can attach an Ipod or mp3 player to this radio. New Front and Rear Fog Lights. New windshield washer reservoir with new motor that is not installed. You’ll need to do that. Etc… I will also include the following: · All of the original part that came off the truck. They include original door panels, grill inserts, windshield molding, locks, rear window with new gasket, etc. · New steering Grant Steering Wheel (Part # 761 GT Rally). · Large toolbox with functional lock and key. · Original Ford Factory cap with working lock and key. This is a very hard item to find and it is in very nice condition. It has a sliding front window, sliding side windows and bug screens for the side window. · New tail light moldings. · Original 1977 Ford 4-Wheel Drive & Ford Pickups brochures. 1977 Ford Recreation Vehicle Guide! · Plenty of extra bulbs, fuses and other odds and ends. All of the extra parts will be boxed up and place in the toolbox for the new owner. Everything works as it should and it can be used as a dependable daily driver, work truck or for fun. I purchased this truck as a toy and lack of employment forces me to sell it. Otherwise I’d keep it! It’s a very nice truck and it is very hard to find one in this shape. I’ve received nothing but compliments on this truck since I’ve owned it and people really seem to like it at the local car shows. The only bad points that I can think of with the truck are the two lower rear bed moldings could use replacing. They are the parts that go over the wheel wells and the tailgates molding could use replacing. That is if you’d want it to be more of a show truck. I left them as they are because I do not mind the minor imperfections. The NADA Classic price guide values for my area are over 8k for an average retail and over 14k for above average retail. I place the condition as above average for my area because you will not find a more solid truck or a nicer truck from this year locally. It wouldn’t take much to put this truck in excellent condition!
