This 2001 Lightning is in great shape. CLEAN TITLE in hand! I will list everything that is done to the truck, which is a lot! I will list all the good and the bad. I like my buyers to know exactly what they are getting with no surprises. First, let me give you a little history on the truck. Its was a 1 owner truck. I purchased it from the original 65 year old owner whom is my co worker. This truck was his pride and joy. He did not cut any corners when he was building it. His intention was to build a modern day truck hot rod. I will try to list everything but I'm sure that there is a few things i will forget. The truck was painted 2 years ago in Pearl White. The back lights were deleted and 2 led brake lights were added in to the rear lower fiberglass bumper. Fiberglass topper on the bed painted to match. Custom hood. It has a hidden class 3 hitch. 4 brand new Nittos 555r mounted last week. 18" Centerline rims. The entire suspension has been gone through and changed. That includes a full Hotchkis Sport Suspension System,bushings, tie rod ends, bearings...etc. The truck runs and drives like brand new. Handles like my corvette. Now for the Power train: The engine was totally redone and built. Engine has about 6800 miles. That includes Bore & Hone, Parallel Deck, Align Hone and Balanced. Diamond cut pistons, Manley H Beams Rods. Everything in the engine is forged 4340. Crower cams. Adjustable Cam Gears. Stiegemeier blower with double reduction gears, port and blueprinted. Both the blower and the plenum are port and polished. Accufab throttle body. Brand New $1200 racing inter cooler. ARP studs everywhere. All new gaskets. Ford Racing Port and Polished New Style Heads. That means these heads have more spark plug threads, not like the first gen heads that had the notorious cross thread issue. Dual Walbro fuel pumps in a brand new newly installed gas tank. 60 lb injectors. New coil-packs. All clutches were done in the rear end. Transmission was strengthened and gone thru when motor was being built. Magnaflow exhaust with high flow cats. Metco Traction Bars. AEM Uego Wide Band, boost gauge and Fuel pressure gauge. Truck makes 18lbs of boost and it get there quick. Its running on safe tune. It was dynoed and tuned by Mustang Specialties in Pompano Beach, FL. It made 505 rwhp and close to 600 ft-lbs of torque. With all that horsepower and torque the truck did not lose one bit of driveability. You would never know its making that much power until you get on the gas. The interior is never been touched or upgraded. The only thing that was added is the "wood grain vinly" to the dash, which is showing its age. The drivers seat has a small tear. The paint is still in good condition but a few weeks ago somebody backed into the rear of the truck in a parking garage. No serious damage but a little bit of an eye sore compared to the rest of the truck. I took a picture of the small damage. Again the truck has absolutely NO mechanical issues. It dose not spit, sputter or leak any oil. The truck runs like new! I'm sure that I have forgotten a few things, If you have ANY questions please feel free to email me.
