Vehicle Detail
1989 AUDI 90 FRONT WHEEL DRIVE AUTOMATICIN TORNADO RED WITH BLACK LEATHER AND GENUINE WOOD GRAIN INTERIOR This 90 is an excellent find which I just acquired recently. I have purchased another vehicle in a deal to good to pass up and, need to let the Audi go to someone else who can appreciate this classic (in amazing condition). Very low miles for an '89 and, just about everything on board is functioning perfectly. There are a few burned out accessory light bulbs which I haven't gotten to yet. And, the power locks are working only from the passenger key (they work correctly from the inside, otherwise). I may have time to get into the driver door before she is sold. Minor inconvenience. Within the last 1,000 miles - New Falken Ziex Tires (snow tires and rims with well over 75% tread are also included) - Right Front Drive Axle Replaced, as well as Front Strut Inserts and Strut Mounts - New Interstate Battery - Brake Master Cylinder was replaced about 4,000 miles ago as well as replacement of brake fluid, of course. The timing belt was replaced around 90,000. As per the previous owner, who owned this 90 for 16 years and did the majority of maintenance himself. The body exterior and interior is beautiful. There are a couple of little scratches and dings but, I touched up and polished most out almost completely when I bought the car. The black leather interior and wood are practically perfect and have been well maintained. Overall, I give it an A- Grade for appearance... A+ interior and a couple deductions for minor dings and a missing piece of door molding. That door molding is replaced by a strip of black carbon fiber vinyl, currently. (Passenger Front Door) I can't think of anything else to include here... The obvious, of course is it being a 23 year old Audi and will require maintenance and upkeep, not withstanding the low miles. The engine is bulletproof and, I've heard examples of this one passing 300,000 miles from the online Audi forums. State of Utah Safety Inspection and Emissions Test done and passed in October 2012. It's a great car. If I had the opportunity to make the purchase all over, I wouldn't hesitate. I would also feel comfortable driving it across the country. If you happen to not be located nearby, I wouldn't worry about a long distance drive at all. Let me know if there are questions I might be able to answer. Thanks
